Hey,
I wonder what do you guys think about it? What do you know about it? Is it sth appealing enough to you to read about it? Do you believe everything is being said about it in the media?!
I myself live in the middle of it, so I would like to know what people from around the globe know about this conflict.
thanks,
Linz

I saw documentary about it at School. They showed one Palestinian and Isreali child how they lived and felt at this place.

Do you really have to hear the sirens so often pro day?

I really cried when I watched this documentary.

So, when you guys end up blowing up Israel can you be sure to place extra emphasis on Nina Myers? Best of luck with the bombings. Allah be praised and all that random stupid bullshit that is so prevelant over in the Middle East.

Mick,
Well I wrote this post because I know that people look to the conflict through one perspective which is the Israeli one.
I just want you to make a lil comparison between Us (the palestinians) and them (the Israelis). They occupy Palestine and oppress us. Just imagine one day, you find some one barges in your house, and kick you out of it and then kill you in cold blood. (God forbid, of course) But how would any peaceful, sane man would react? of course not saying WHATEVER! I oppose killing civilians on both sides.Even though, they have killed a lot of innocent people whether in Gaza or The West Bank and not forgetting they have high-tech weapons and well trained troops.
And I'm sorry that you only see us as people who want to bomb Israel. It's not like that and never was like that. I just want you to reconsider your point view, I'm trying here to get to point where you open your eyes to the other side not just their side.*The Israeli one.

About our daily live,it's pretty much hard on all the levels. But still we do our best to live our lives.Gaza's troops free inside but it's sort of big prison. I mean by that no one can come to the strip and one goes out. All the terminals that link us with the outside world are closed by the Israeli army. This situation has been imposed on for a year now, after Hamas took over the strip (long story). About 60% of the people live under poverty line. 226 people died because they couldn't travel to get the proper medical care because Gaza isn't supplied with adequate hospitals. It sucks, in other words.

To be fair here, what I said was part truth part hilarious. As it stands however, I think Israel as a whole is a fucked up conglomerate of intolerance at it's best. However, this is not to say that the blame is soley put on Israel, without compromise there is no hope.

I was serious about that Nina Myers thing though.

hmm, call me a dreamer, but i think that both sides should admit the mistakes they made and try to live next to each other. dont know how you handle it, but nowadays it should be possible for adults from different religions to live in one country without blowing up your neighbour. there sure is a lot of stuff i dont know about and its quite naive of me to say that, but in the end we´re all just people. and people shouldnt do stuff like that to each other.

I did a speech on whether Jerusalem should be the state for both israeli and Paleestinian state.Had to talk abit about the conflict as well, and now i come here and here it comes again!
I grew up in jordan, and you know what it's like over there, full of Paleestinians and so most of my mates are 'falas6inyeh':) onto changing the state's name and all, talking about this whole thing makes me angry. I just think that stealing a place, then claiming it's yours then try to change everything about it and now have a name together is not right. It was always known as palestine, jewish people did live there at some point, and they lived together without any trouble. It was untill this Arthur guy thought he had some type of power and decided to give the 'promised land' to jewish people mainly from europe, they get back and call it israel. It's like coming into someone's home, deciding to 'give' you the first couple of rooms and have the rest. Then seperating you in different parts of your home, then changing your family's name, then now trying to have the same name for you two. It's just not right. If i was to think about this, not so long ago, i'd think, what's in a name, change the name it wont do much, but it will. The fact that so many poeple recognise israel and not Palestine proves my point.
