Are you sick and tired of being in mosh pits where ignorant moshers go out of their way to try knock you over and do those stupid windmill kicks (WMK), purposely trying to hurt others?

Do you secretly try to take revenge on those windmill moshers by elbowing them in the ribs and then blaming it on being pushed by others? Or do you take it to another level and just try to take out the windmill moshers completely?

If so, then this place is for you. This is the Anti-WMK Alliance, where you can share your hatred of the douche bags that sometimes inhabit the mosh pit.

On completion of watching these videos, you will get your gifts, which consist of virtual viking helmet, Anti WMK Badge and Walking Stick (you have the option of choosing either a walking stick with a steel point, an animal head handle, or a blade).

*Self Defense Against WMK Moshers*
This class will cover a range of techniques that can be used as self defense mechanisms against WMK moshers.

On completion of this class, you may upgrade your walking stick to a hollow stick filled with booze.

*Exorcism*
WMK moshers will sometimes send heads spinning, so we're offering this highly soughtafter exorcism class.

On completion of this class, you will be able to use your exorcism skills to heal the head spinning victims of the WMK moshers.

*Don Quixote 101*
This is a mandatory class for those who chose a walking stick with an encompassed blade. Here is some reference material that you should watch.

*Moshing Etiquette as taught by Mike Shinoda*
Honorary Anti WMK Alliance member Mike Shinoda will instruct you on the etiquette of moshing. A very informative class.

*Windmills - a History*
As an Anti WMK Alliance member, you not only have the opportunity to travel as part of the LP entourage, but you get to travel the world. In keeping with our educational purposes, as we travel around the world, we must make visits to every windmill known and then make a report on them. Included in your report must be: which windmills are the worst, which windmills suck the most and what kind of techniques you need in order to fight them.

On completion of this class, you will be... um... very knowledgable...

*Educate The Masses*
This class is just like community service - only FUN! Since the Anti WMK headquarters are in the LP mosh pits, every night we must educate the people in the mosh pits about the downfalls of WMK. Once you educate the moshers, you are free to enjoy the LP concert.

*The Art Of Falling - The Proper Wall To Fall During A Mosh*
Anti WMK Alliance Member Jinxx will cover the science and art of how to fall during a mosh. Statistics have shown that over 75% of people will at one point fall down during a mosh. Jinxx will teach you the techniques that won't necessarily help you prevent falling, but that will prevent you from hurting yourself badly.

On completion of this class, you will know how to protect yourself when falling over.

*Pit Attire*
This class will teach you what to wear and what NOT to wear when venturing into a mosh pit. Some reference material has been provided:

On completion of this class you will be extremely savvy when it comes to fashion.

*Shot Gun Opera - The Art of Singing & Screaming*
In this class we will practice special singing and shouting techniques that will allow you to participate in LP concerts adequately without overstraining your vocal cords (sometimes it may be useful to be able to talk properly the next day :D).

This will be a long-term class, so please be aware of the fact that you sign in for at least a full semester. Make sure to invite your neighbours over to dinner every now and then to make up for the singing practice you have to do as homework :D

On completion of this class you will be able to rock out without losing your voice the next day!

*The Morning After*
This class will teach you the tips and techniques on how to handle a hangover. When having a big night out - you get drunk, you mosh a lot, you sing with LP, you possibly stalk them back to the hotel (The Anti WMK Alliance does not encourage such behaviour, but you know, it happens :D) - by the time you get home and to bed, it's gonna be pretty early in the morning, then when you wake up you'll have a massive hangover. This class will help you deal with that issue!!!

On completion of this class, you'll know the secrets of how to reduce UHS - unbearable hangover syndrome.

ok, so I'll be head armourer :D wanna be in the sub-section of the Hell's Grannies? we got to organize, you know? Natalie can be head of "the Menace", the under-30-members, plus I thought we need some special forces when it comes to that death-wall thingy...

unfortunately, when it comes to walls, theres *yuk* david hasselhoff that comes to my mind - he still believes he made the Berlin wall crumble by singing (calling it singing for lack of a better word to use) that freedom song. no need to mention we don't want no connection with him, right?
so maybe we should go biblical - Jericho! they had trumpets or something, would look stupid in a mosh pit. so maybe there are whistles that would work? you know, like the high-pitched notes that make glass break? we need someone doing research work on that :)

Firstly, i just want to set something straight:

Holly, we're all for mosh pits. We love them. We just don't like windmill kicks. Suffice to say, we're not gonna stop people from doing them - we will educate them on the downfalls of WMK, BUT, if they're gonna continue doing it, then they're fair game for us to get revenge on.

that's how the Anti WMK Alliance works. we're not saying you can't mosh... just mosh safely, and by safely, we mean not like a douche bag that's hell bent on hurting someone on purpose :p

and mike shinoda endorses it, and he MUST be right!!

originally, the idea stemmed from a crazy conversation, Nezumi, Licquorice and i were having. It's just meant to be something funny. I can't get through reading this thread without damn near almost wetting my pants... but maybe that's just because i have a crazy sense of humour :p

I like Lindy's idea for a class on "Pit Attire". that's very important.

Speaking of Jericho, if you need death wall reinforcements, you could always get the WRESTLER Chris Jericho as a reinforcer. It seems kinda fitting, coz one of his moves is called the Walls Of Jericho. And he's good looking. And he has his own rockband, so he would be familiar with mosh pits. I think he would be a good asset to the Anti WMK Alliance.

Actually I can do that and be head of security, cos my brother used to work for a club that catered for goths, punks, emos and metalheads. I just need to say that unfortunately for Tiresome Toddlers, it will not be possible to upgrade their walking sticks into walking sticks with booze... still they are welcome to take part in the Self Defense class; they will be awarded their booze-stick as soon as they become members of The Menace.

Having had classical singing and stage-play training, for those who are interested I will offer an optional class in which we will practice special singing and shouting techniques that will allow you to participate in LP concerts adequately without overstraining your vocal cords (sometimes it may be useful to be able to talk properly the next day :D).

This will be a long-term class, so please be aware of the fact that you sign in for at least a full semester. Make sure to invite your neighbours over to dinner every now and then to make up for the singing practice you have to do as homework :p

you know, BBQ time got me thinking about drinking... and there is often drunkenness to be seen in a mosh pit - so, i was thinking maybe we should make a class that deals with hangovers... you know, because having a big night out - you get drunk, you mosh a lot, you sing with LP, you possibly stalk them back to the hotel (i'm not encouraging that, but you know, it happens :D) - by the time you get home and to bed, it's gonna be pretty early in the morning, then when you wake up you'll have a massive hangover... there needs to be a class on how to deal with "The Morning After" (chester reference #2. damn i'm clever).

Yeah, I think it's very important to include whole LP in our safety program, the bone-breaking activities have to be limited, even by the band (I'll try to break no more toes, too). We must not encourage this kind of behaviour. *waves index finger*

Maybe we can offer special classes for band members as well on how to fall correctly? (maybe I can help Jinxx out with this, I did the whole Ju-Jutsu thing when I was a kid where you learn the "art of correct falling" - it has helped me a lot working with horses, too :D).

The hangover bit is essential, too. We could hand out a medical first aid guide to the Alliance members as well - on how to deal with bruises, black eyes and blisters (woo-heee, they all start wit a "b", that's poetic :p)

kiwis are so nice! last thursday was the las concert of Korn's "Bitch we have a problem" tour in Auckland; for lack of other reasonable things to do, it was compulsory to be there. I was't especially keen on Korn, but with Biohazard, it was worth the 74 bucks.

I was with a guy from Berlin who felt the urge to educate the local moshpits (a-ha! do we see some reference there?? :D) some girl from Norway who'd never heard from the bands (isn't metal of norwegian origin??) but was desperate for new experiences, and a kiwi-lawyer, invited by me in excange for inviting me to 70ies new wave "Split Enz". the perfect metal-crew, you could say.

but we had fun, and it was educational too:

heavy kiwi fact #1 - half of the ppl were quietly sitting on their chairs on the gallery... at a metal concert???

heavy kiwi fact #2 - one beer per person only, which meant you had to wait about 45 mins until everyone had one. guy from Berlin jumped the queue, got 4 beers and nearly was lapidated. no queue jumping, never ever!

heavy kiwi fact #3 - kiwis mosh - but one Berlin moshionary (please pause for a moment and behold the pun! it works in german just as in english ;)) may boost the whole matter up to 150%, especially at times where the music doesn't get anyone else moving. but local forces are way better at screaming like hell (picture on the right: local force in the front, german screamer in the back).

heavy kiwi fact #4 - don't try to crowdsurf, neither actively nor passively. the active part landed on the only passive part (happening to be me) and was destined to kiss the ground instantly for lack of further passive support. I saw 2 more tries, both foredoomed.

heavy kiwi fact #5 - kiwi-friends who are in the moshpit for their 1st time think that's cool cause it resembles rugby. at the same time, they don't really get the point and try to avoid the oncoming mosh-forces.

heavy kiwi fact #6 - you're the center of attention faster than you wish to be when the kiwi you're with shouts something like "Boyzone" and declares Korn a boyband because each band memer is dressed and painted differently. at the same time, he's wearing - among 99% black-clad ppl - a white German soccer shirt.

heavy kiwi faxt #7 - Biohazard and Chimaira should do without Korn; they were ok, but delivered a half-hearted performance. they're way better on record.

As you can see, a frantically jerking and twitching cluster of people, epileptical lighting and really bad noise? yeah, that's how it was and how it was meant to be!

And what else happened:

wearing an "Immortal" shirt, i was informed that they had only a fistful of ppl coming their concert here; back home, they have thousands coming to their concerts.

when some kiwi realised that I was german and wrote a blog, he asked me to appeal to all the germans back home to try to excert some influence on chancellor Angie Merkel. he really seemed stricken... her um, yeah, youknow *cough* were obviously better known here than Carla Bruni's. who would have thought...

conclusion: good evening, good dance, embassadorial influence on 2 countries right on the opposite ends of the globe! I'm proud of myself *hehe* kiwis show a good approach to moshing, but they could woop it up a bit at times and stop being too nice all over ;)
