hey ppl :) (my 1st thead) ^^
so, tell me how it began? How did you heard of LP and what happend then? 1st song and video you saw? 1st concert? all...
here's mine: at 1st a saw "Numb/Encore" on TV and I didn't like it but I liked the part "now what the hell are you waiting for?". Loved the dude who sang it but that was all... nothing special to me as always. and I liked the melody though :) ... (btw back then I haven't heard of LP before)
I heard the song several times, again again, and I was sick of it...
and all of a sudden (after year of the Numb/Encore mania) I heard "A Place For My Head" and it was the 1st rock song I liked so much! ... then I heard "Carousel" which made me an Official LP fan :D and the rest is history...
I'm only sorry about missing all the cool stuff that happend before I heard of LP
... and for my bad English :D

Actually,it wasn't their video or song I heard first.
I heard someone played Numb on piano and when I looked for the original by LP,it was even better than I expected.
Since then,I've become a dedicated fan.(but some people call me obsessed,and it's OK,cause it's LP)

How did you manage to hear Carousel without being a fan?
I heard In The End on MTV2 in about 02. It was the only time I heard LP for five years but it managed to burrow it's way into my head and stay there.
In 06 I heard Numb/Encore, which I thought was really good.
Then I heard Papercut and Numb, and they were awesome.
Then one day I watched the videos for One Step Closer, From the Inside, Crawling, Faint, SOmwhere I Belong, Breaking the Habit and Pts.Of.Athrty
I then decided I was an LP fan for life

I first saw Crawling and In The End on MTV back in the day. Later that year i asked for Hybrid Theory for my birthday. I liked LP, but i liked other bands more at the time. Then a few years later I heard Numb and for me that sealed the deal. I bought Meteora straight away and have been a huge fan ever since.
My first concert was in Melbourne on October 14th. Best Night!!
It was exactly 11 months ago I became a fan. I had seen What I've Done's vid on a local music channel in May(?) 2007 and took a fancy to the global theme immediately. I downloaded the song and listened to it for about two months until I became interested in other songs of LP. And so on... ;) The funniest part is that before WID I had only listened to different pop artists and didn't really like rock or any bands.

Oh, it was maby 6 years ago or something when I for some reason borowed Hybrid Theory from a friend and the first Papercut beat started.. then I quess I just started listening to them more and more.. LP was also mine first real band that I got into. Sure nowadays I´m much older and know what the songs (for me) are about and all and they have new meaning and all.
Hmm.. it seems many ppl here have been starting to like LP at a pretty young age. But I don´t think people can say (as some do I hear) that ppl got into LP cause they didn´t know any better, but I´ve heared alot music since then and still think that LP is the best, and realized even more how they combine the best things from different styles and make their own thing.. like if you have a metal band, it´s metal music all the way and after a few albums might get numbing.. or rock, or hip-hop or whatever. Also LP keeps changing and "growing up" and so do the fans. And as an LP fan you´re really not (or at leasr I´m not) that suspicious about any style of music and can listen to lotsa stuff (except maby reggae, lol)
..oh, and people really should stick the nu-metal in their asses (as Mike pointed out once something like that)

When i first heard the song i cryed even today this song remaines my favourite song ever... after that i searched for more information on LP and watched many more videos and it wasn't long untill i became a fan ... LP's music is soooo damn real to me it is like a whole new universe where i can be who i really am ... i can't even tell you what LP really means to me... their music is more that meets the eye it's more deep than many can feel... sooo that's my LP storry... sad but true ...

I heard Carousel from YouTube, there was a fan made video with the song, don't remember how it happened but I think I found it accidentally :D and since then I can't stop listening to it (2 years ago)

I've noticed that every point of LP is "growing" too :) which is really cool 'cuz I don't like same stuff over and over again. And their style is just unique. I think their the 1st one who made this new style born and no other band can do it like them!

Not really, as far as LP go the only good thing they've brought to popular music is bring nu metal into the mainstream

the story starts when i heard the song numb/encore on the radio i didn't like that song but i remmber i heard part of it before (it was on a Naruto AMV) so i got home i went on youtube search through all the Naruto AMV and i finally found it after hours of searching it was the music video Numb i found out the band was linkin park. when i saw Chester i automaticly fell in love with him (at that time which was like january or febuary i didn't even know anything about linkin park:p )i kept on rewatching the video Numb i was obess the day after that i found out chester had cut his hair many times and also colored it many times which kind of the dissapointed me then i realized that i only liked chester because he reminded me of somebody i use to like . so then my friends told me about the other videos( if they didn't tell me i'd still be watch themv Numb to this day:p ) so then the second video was in the end which made fall for shinoda but of course somewhere between the day i discovered linkin park to today i found out that both chester snd shinoda were married so my obession stops so now i look up to shinoda and want to be able to at least be a better artist than him..............i know my story is kinda a lame..........but that was how it was.....

Late 2001 -- obtained "Hybrid Theory"; I listened to nothing but that album through 2002.
2003 - obtained "Meteora". And "Live In Texas". Still listened to nothing but LP.
2004 (and onward) - discovered the Internet; got everything else. :D
+ 2007 - attended MTM tour show in Sydney, October 20.

I actually despised Linkin Park when I first heard them. I was played a song from Hybrid Theory.
A Place For My Head really got me into them and since then I've loved them. I think I was around 12 when I first heard it.

Back in 2001 when I was in 7th grade. Our music class had this assignment where we choose a recent song that relates to your life, play it for the class and write about how and why it related to us. I brought in an Aerosmith or Smashing Pumpkins song I think...
Everyone else (all, like, 20 kids) brought in Hybrid Theory. At this point I had never heard of LP, and was blown away. Every last person chose In The End as their song and all class long the only thing that played was my song and like 10 renditions of In The End. Pretty sure this was around the time ITE was a single, so that would explain why EVERY kid chose it.
Bought HT, loved it. Bought Meteora and pretty much hated 9/10 of it. Mainly because it was nothing different. Save for like 3 or 4 songs, it was wayy too repetitive and reminiscent of Hybrid Theory. Stopped being a hardcore fan for a few years, and then I found out a new album was coming. What I've Done and MTM completely blew me away once again and I think I'm a bigger fan now than I was when HT came out, lol.

OMG!!! my story is so horrible !!!
I 1st heard LP 2 years ago ( a short time :p)
It was a bad time in my life . I think so.
I was so stressful,so much pressure from family, and at school,I didn't have any friends ,and broke down spirit
Many times I've thought about kill my self. oh That's so bad thinking.
But suddenly :)I saw some scenes of Somewhere I belong clip on TV.(not all the song). I saw Chazy and I though he looked so funny :) so I searched for some LP's clips on Youtube. And... the 1st song is Numb.
It was so awesome. It gave me strength. I felt much better after that, more happy and I haven't thought about kill my self since that historical day :)
I think LP saved my life .

My story, possibly is the saddest of the all the stories. I actually first heard LP as the music in an AMV(anime music video). It was Numb. I personally thought it was freakin' awesome and have gone on to buy the albums/dvds/ and soon the book(FTI). :D
First concert was the February 12, 2008 concert at the Quest Center in Omaha, NE. So far teh best day of my life!!!
Current dream: Get to PR at least once in my life! :p

My ex-gf is a really crazy LP fan. Last year she just wouldn't shut up about them and kept trying to convince me to try it out. But I never bothered with them cause i always thought something like "I don't want you to decide what I should listen to" One day I went to her house, she forced me through a few LP vids, I remember One Step Closer and Breaking the Habit being one of them.
I loved BTH but OSC made me think "who are these crazy guys?" But I decided to try 'em out anyway, and the first thing I found on youtube was a Bleach/BTH amv and I LOVED IT!!
I liked them for a few months but was never obsessive....until I got Meteora. That masterpiece album made me want to check out LP's live shows and since then I'm hooked:)

Once a ponty tail time.
I had hear Linkin Park songs before, but I was all up into the backstreet boys at the time and music like bsb. Any at that time I just thought Linkin Park was one of those bands like Marilyn Manson. And all that yelling in the music made my head hurt at the time. That was probably around 2000 something. I thought Chester was the ugliest person in the band too. Anyway, Somewhere around 2003 I was fliping through the channels and making of Somewhere I belong was on, so I desided to watch it. First time I heard Chester speek, I thought he sounded like that dude mini me from Austin Powers. But, What really got me into Linkin Park was when I liked Good Charlotte. I used to read slash fictions about GC then I started reading on Linkin Park ( Bennoda fics ). Well, I got curious about them, so I came to their site ( when it looked like this. (http://web.archive.org/web/20030407235014/www.linkinpark.com/home.php) ). At that time I did sign up to the message board as MrHahnFreak. At the time, I didn't care and broke the rules and got banned. Well later on, GC was actually starting to get on my nerves and I was like getting more and more into LPs music when I sarted listening to it. My first fav one was Mr Hahn, so I signed up again as MistaHahnLover ( when the boards looked like this (http://web.archive.org/web/20030401155558/forums.linkinpark.com/). ). Well, I was listening to In The End and I remembered when they played it on the radio and loving the song. I never had relized it was them playing it... and that's kind of how I got into Linkin Park. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
And my MistaHahnLover account. (http://archive.forums.linkinpark.com/member.php?userid=240495)

Hybrid Theory.. i remember the guy i bought it from was like "papercut is the best on the album" and i was like hell no nothing can beat crawling.. but yeah i became completely obsessed and papercut is still my fav song :D

It was 2000 and I was getting ready for school in the morning and I happened to catch the video for Crawling. The song got stuck in my head and I heard it again the next morning. I decided then that I wanted the cd and when I was at the store buying it One Step Closer was on and I was hooked for life.
First concert was I think the second Projekt Revolution when they had Blindside, some other band I can't remember, and X-hibit. I've been to every Projekt Rev stop in Arizona since haha.

LP story, huh?
Mine began during high school during the bad times in 2004. My class was ranked at the bottom and earned the nickname "Mischievous class" because we were cutting classes we hate, didn't listen to the teachers and didn't really cared about our scores on tests or examines. All of us in the class (40 people) were having a bad life; we often got to gangs fights, drugs and smoke, scoldings from teachers and pretty much family problems. So, to relieve the pain, we mostly listened to rock songs. Hard ones. We were pretty much 'underground'.
One day, I saw a group of friends borrowed a Linkin Park cassette from another class. It was Hybrid Theory. The next day, the same friends started to sing some of their songs. I thought it was another rock band that most teenagers would go obsessed about. I was wrong completely.
Days later, I was listening to the radio in a car when one of the LP's song came on; it was In The End. I was listening to their lyrics and was surprised how accurate they paint of picture of youngness hope and despair and how the songs connected to real life.
You see, I too was growing up listening to bands like Backstreet Boys and such but when I went to high school, my world was turned upside down. Teachers weren't responsible, friends were backstabbing just to gained ranks (happened in 2000-2003, Hell Years for me) and people were not kind. That really hits me in the head - "This is reality, boy!" my mind speaks. I responded by becoming bad. I swore and cursed a lot, rage took over me everytime and had a carefree attitude but once I heard LP's song, I suddenly took an interest in them. I was never a good judge of music, you see? However, the lyrics in In The End were true to life and the music really suits it well. So from that on I was hooked (and now have a better life but that's a different story).
I haven't got their [first] album at that time so I asked for help from a buddy of mine. Back then, I don't have a CD player at home so my buddy recorded his CD on tape. He gave it to me free of charge as a sign of friendship (and yes, that means pirated - piracy is A-OKAY here in my country). I thanked him and played the tape in the car because there were no tape player in the house back then. I listened to all of their songs and that's when I became an LP fan. I personally love A Place For My Head track since it's connected to my life at that time.
A year later...
I quit school with low grades hence a dropout at age 16. I was deemed having a difficulty in finding a good job. However, my mother was building a business and I helped her with it. As I was helping out by going with her on short business trips, I saw LP's second album Meteora was released. I took a chance and bought the CD. I played it on my iMac G3 when I got home and loved every single one of their songs.
Note: My life improved once I quit the low-life high school I was in.
The following years saw me busy doing designs and helping mother managing the business. I saw a lot of LP side projects albums as well as their DVDs being released but due to limited time, I wasn't able to buy them.
My interest in LP strengthened once I got to buy a somewhat pirated DVD of LP's Breaking The Habit video. Earlier, my buddy (the same one who gave me the re-recorded LP tape) told me that LP's done an animé version of the video and I was a animé freak so I decided to take a look. Previously, I wasn't too keen on watching LP's videos since most of 'em are too weird for my tastes with the exception of Crawling and In the End. Breaking The Habit, it blew me away with the graphic visuals along with already a great music. The DVD also contains a behind-the-scenes look of the video and I really love it. I was pleasantly surprised that the band members would not only just sing but also directed and planned their works especially Mr. Hahn and Mike Shinoda. Most of the music bands I've known doesn't do what LP does, usually the singers just sing and leave everything else to their manager. This discovery made me grew from just a fan to respect.
Currently...
Owning Minutes To Midnight CD and downloaded 'What I've Done' video through Azureus. The music is completely different from the previous two albums. Where the two albums are more head bangin' and nu metal-like, this one's softer and punkish but by listening to the lyrics, I can say that LP's becoming more mature.
My respect grew when I discovered LP was making LPTV and then LPN and that's when I decided to join.
In short, my LP story is born from respect.
well I first heard about them two years ago :) it was with the songs "In The End" and "Numb"
given by some friends
I immediately fell in love with them^^ the first cd I bought was "Hybrid Theory" and dvd " Frat Party" and then "Meteora"/"MTM"/"Live in Texas"/"Reanimation" :)
no concerts yet unfortunately :'(
bye people^^

In short, my LP story is born from respect.
what can I say... sad but really interesting and edifying story!

so my LP story goes like this -
back when One Step Closer was released, it used to get A LOT of play on the Australian music channels.
i COULDN'T STAND the song.(keeping in mind, at the time i was a huge Backstreet Boy fan. lol. tragic but oh so popalicious at the time :D) i never even gave it a chance. it got to the point that as soon as i'd see the beginning of the video clip, i'd change the t.v channel. like seriously, who likes screamo music? what was with that shinoda guy's hair? and chester? pfft what kind of name is chester?
HOWEVER (lol there's gotta be a however, otherwise there'd be no story!)
when Crawling came out, i loved the song immediately... and i found out it was by the same band who did One Step Closer... so i figured, maybe i should go back and give OSC another try... well what can i say? OSC ignited some sort of spark in me... all of a sudden that shinoda guy's hair was looking pretty good, and the name chester was sounding pretty sexy, :p and screamo wasn't really screamo at all - it was real music with raw emotions - all of which i could relate to. i liked screaming along with chester, and i liked the fact that their sound was different.
Crawling did it for me. been a fan ever since :D
Saw LP 2x in Melbourne, Australia for their MTM 2007 tour. it was probably two of the best nights of my life :D

My story is pretty different and also to be honest, probably not as sincere as most of what you guys have got to say.
The first time I heard LP was when 'Crawling' started receiving airplay on MTV, then followed by the rest of the singles, 'One Step Closer', 'Papercut' and so forth. I was about nine years old then and thought that the screaming and "dark" video of 'Crawling' was too much for me to take while my brother kept going on about how awesome the song was. I paid no specific attention to LP in the following years when they released Hybrid Theory and Meteora although I was aware of all their popular singles which I obviously couldn't escape from the radio or MTV (I was fond of some of Fort Minor's stuff though). The songs were indeed catchy to me, to say the least, but I never really saw a spark of brilliance in them or anything. Then came the pre-Minutes to Midnight release period which was filled with so much anticipation of LP's new album after a long break. The radio and MTV were counting down to the release date of the first single, 'What I've Done' and it was the talk of the town. I, somehow, was dragged into the whole anticipation as well and was waiting to see their new video. When I first heard it, I really liked it, as much as I didn't want to admit it, and just labelled them as a guilty pleasure. LP was the artist of the month on MTV so they showed ads to promote LPTV and a little of the 'Making of' MTM where I first heard the introduction to 'LOATR'. After that, I downloaded the whole album just to get that song because I didn't know its title. When I found it, I was really glad and loved the way Mike worked with the beats. Not long after that, I saw LP live at Rock am Ring '07 on TV and was impressed with the way they worked the crowd with their opening song of 'One Step Closer'. Two words: Kick. Ass. Phoenix was badass with his hood up playing that bass on a platform. I don't know why I thought it was so kickass but I just did. I called my friend and casually told her I'd go to see LP any day now and before I knew it, MTV was announcing they'd be coming down! It couldn't have been at a more appropriate time. Once I got my golden ticket, I decided to ditch the 'guilty pleasure' label for good and wasted no time to go all the way back to Hybrid Theory to re-discover their music from the start. And watched every episode of LPTV. Which only made my interest in LP grow outtahand! The thing about LPTV which intrigued me was the unitedness of the band and how gracious they were to their fans. It was a great way for me to get to understand the band which I hadn't in the past. Phoenix became my favourite band member and in the most corniest and cheesiest way possible, the concert was one of the best days of my life. As soon as it was all over, I missed the band a lot so I went and discovered their complete discography. LPU albums, collaborations, remixes, instrumentals...I got Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight and their From The Inside: LP's Meteora book. Now I know so much more about these six dudes and they're definitely not just any band jumping around crazily on stage and acting like fucking rock 'n' roll stars. To the haters: If you don't dig LP then my dog is French and it already pooped under your pillow.

its funny how so many people where indifferent to one step closer when it came out. i was, didn't like it at first, but after crawling i really got into linkin park, thankfully. if it wasn't for that song i could have gone in a different direction in music but linkin park and a few more at the time, got me into heavier music. and even though linkin park are probably one of the lighter bands i like, still count them as my favourite band.

i'm in the same boat as you. before i even remotely got into LP, i was like a little teenybopper (not saying that you were though) - and LP definitely got me into the heavier sort of music.
don't get me wrong, i still listen to a lot of pop music, but LP are definitely my fav band and since i first started taking an interest in them, i feel that i've broadened my horizons in regards to my taste in music.
yay for LP!

Let's see...I recognized Linkin Park when they performed together with Jay-Z. Back then, I was into HipHop, so I thought that version of "Numb" sounded pretty cool. It didn't make me a fan of LP though. I bought their album "Minutes to Midnight" and thought all the songs were really cool, but at this time it was "just" music, and I really didn't care much about the people. Then, I moved to the states and started to work at a hotel. I met the band "All American Rejects" and I thought those guys are really cool with all their tattoos and how down-to-earth and cool they seemed. My co-worker told me that Linkin Park would come to our hotel, but I was off on those days. Once I was back at work, he told me that Linkin Park didn't come this year even though they always stayed at this hotel the previous years. I got to know the crew of Linkin Park though. They stayed at our hotel, and were a bunch of cool guys with lots of tattoos :). I started to do a little more research about Linkin Park or let's say Chester Bennington, and all of a sudden I was into him! I bought their live songs on ITunes and couldn't stop listening anymore. They are the first band who inspire me that much, and I even changed my way of dressing up :). Especially Chester has become one of my biggest inspirations, and I can't wait to see them live in concert one day! Of course I missed them when they were in Boston, because I had to work and wasn't into them that much yet. Perhaps it was destiny, because if I'll go to their concert now I'll even be more into them as I have ever been before :).

okey, let's see ... i first heard of linkin park back in 2003. i heard the song "numb" with the video on mtv. this time i didn't have any money or internet. i was watching mtv the whole day just to hear this song. :D later i was able to use the internet and the next song i discovered was figure.09 ... and so on. i started to love linkin park and i started to collect linkin park pictures. then a beloved friend sent numb to me. i still had no money, so i had to wait until this friend sent me some new LP songs. when my parents decided to give me pocket money i wasn't allowed to buy cds. (and it isn't that easy to get cds when you live in a little village not even close to any city with media stores. XD) so my friend sent more lp songs to me until i had almost everything. since 2006 i'm allowed to buy cds (oh my god lol) and the first cd i bought was hybrid theory ... :D
i think that's it. hahaha, and i bet no one actually read this. XDD

Well.. it all started 5 years ago, by the time meteora came out. An older friend of mine was listening to LP and told me that they were a really cool band (I heard about them before but I wasn´t recognizing the name..). I searched for some songs at home,I first heard Crawling which made me like them, I got interested when I heard OSC and Papercut. The song that really got me addicted was ITE. Fell in love xP I spent hours looking for LP stuff, I only found Numb and Somewhere I Belong (which were most heard songs of the time) after watching to every HT singles.. lol.
I did a break on LP in 2005 till 2006 and a half.. I was having a hard time and I almost forgot about them, actually I wasnt listetning to any band.. but one day I decided to open the music files in my pc.. LP came back to my life x] I bought Live in Texas and Collision Course and I never turned my back to LP again ^^
I saw them live for the first time a few mounts ago at Rock In Rio Lisbon, Hell yeah thas was some fcking awesome show!!!! One of the best days of my life.. Actually I decided to register here after that day =P
As long as I get older I pay more attention to LP, I realise how much important they are are in my life, their music inspire me in so many ways, make me understand so many things! I can relate me alot with their work, even with theirselfs =D LP've become a Part of Me :D
The End. :D

Just because i told this to a friend of mine today and she really liked it...
In the year 2001 i had this american boyfriend, Luke, i found he was really cute, but my family and friends thought he was kinda odd. His lip was pierced, he had tattoos and his hair was...let's not talk about it. But he had this heart of gold and was one of the kindest and sweetest persons i've ever met.
So, one day, we're walking through the city of Frankfurt, when a group of girls passed by, yelling: "Oh my gosh, it's him!", pointing at Luke. As they got closer, they were: "Ah, no, not him..But you really look like Chester from Linkin Park!"
Well, i didn't know Linkin Park, neither did Luke, so we went into a record store to listen to Hybrid Theory. I heard the first 10 seconds of Crawling and bought it.
From that day on, everytime somebody said: "Well, Sarah, your boyfriend looks kinda weird, huh?". I answered:"Yeah, maybe, but he looks like a rockstar!";)
I've been a Linkin Park fan ever since, well, not really hardcore-fan-like with posters or millions of visited concerts, but i love their music and their attitude. Luke kinda liked the music, but was annoyed by the thought of looking like somebody..."He looks like me! Not me like him!"
Luke died 5 years ago, at the age of 22 and everytime i listen to LP i somehow get reminded of that cute guy...and everytime i see Chester on TV i think about what could have become of Luke, a handsome guy with family and kids, a job (not as a singer though, he couldn't sing a note)...
But: life's short and you never know what's gonna happen next. And somebody might look odd to you, but he can still be a rockstar inside...That's the moral of the story ;)

I had heard LP's songs when I was 10, but it didn't really sink in. I knew I liked the way it sounded, but I didn't go any further than that. Then in the summer of 2003, I was watching MTV waiting to see if they would play a video I liked enough notg to change the channel. Luckily, "Faint" came on and I was very intrigued by the energy of the song, the lights at the beginning, and the adorable lead singer. I waited until the video was over to see the name of the band. So, later that evening I googled Linkin Park and I became hooked.:D

I don"t remember exactly when I first heard them. It might be in 2003 or 2004, I knew a little bit of numb and breaking the habit. So for me, LP was a blond-haired singer with glasses  (as in the 2 clips). After, I heard numb/encore and I liked it. Then, in april 2007 what i've done came out and I started to be interested in them. I found bleed it out awesome, that's how I discovered how Mike is talented! So at this point I became a real fan each day more than the precedent... LP will be my favorite band ever!

I don't exactly remember when I heard the first Linkin Park song, but what I do remember is that it was the first single to come out in Finland. It was One Step Closer if memory serves me right. I remember liking the song but not thinking much of it since I was only 12 and still into boy bands. So I kept on hearing more singles from the radio and tv but not realizing the real potential behind the songs. Some time passed and I was hit by a lot of bad things. My gradmother died and my fathers alcoholisim got worse quikly. So I was still 12 and i had a lot of bad things in my life and I think I was looking for something to help ease the pain. Thats when I heard In The End and it helped me. So I began to like Linkin Park and the songs but it still remained more casual liking of the band. Some years passed and Meteora came out which I didn't know at the time. Around the same time my mom got cancer(a battle she would fight for years to come but she made it!) and my fathers alcoholisim still got worse. So you could say things were bad for me and nothing seemed to make sence until my sister borrowed me a cd containing Linkin Pars best songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I think that cd saved me since nothing made sence and suddenly I had something that made sence and it even made me feel better. From that day on Linkin Park has been my favorite band and their songs have always helped me thourgh hard times in my life.
So thats the beginning of my story but theres a little more I want to share. When I heard that Minutes To Midnight was in stores I rushed to get it for myself. Listening to it for the first time(in the car and people were talking so the experience wasn't the best possible) I was a little dissapointed but still happy about the album. One my second listen I realised how much the band had grown and loved it. Since that I discoverd something about me I hadn't realized before.. I was obsessed with Linkin Park and everything else the guys did. My obsession got even worse when I heard that LP was coming to Finland. After hearing it I cancelled everything else I had planned for that day and got tickets to see the show. It was the best day of my life! Ever since I have been more obsessed with the band and looking forward to see LP live again!
So I think thats the HOLE story but like every good tale there's no ending yet.

Back in 2001, everybody around me was comparing Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. But I was not into music then, being only 9 years old.
Then, in 2006, I saw the video for Numb on MTV, and that used to be the only song I used to listen to. Then came Runaway a few days later.
There was this hype in 2007 about Minutes to Midnight, and then the disappointment. People were saying that What I've Done was the only good track. I happened to see the video of that later that night. I didn't love it, but it was fine. Over the summer, I downloaded Linkin Park's stuff right from 2000, and I got addicted. My favourite song is Crawling.
Apart from Numb, Runaway and Cure for the Itch, though, none of the LP songs took me by storm. All of them had to grow on me..........
And yeah, I downloaded Limp Bizkit as well, and I'm just laughing at the guys who've tried to compare LP and LB!:D

Was at my nans house back in 2000, I was 9. Sittin' there my cousin listening to the usual pop cr*p she liked, then In The End came on and i was like "Woah!".
My cousin liked it aswell. Her dad's best friend owned (and still does) a music shop, just a small one, but because it's small, he could order in what he wanted, when he wanted.
My cousin got a copy of Hybrid Theory, then decided she only liked 2 songs and gave it too me!
I was like "Wow!" I loved it entire thing. I listened to it loads, then I got Meteora on release, amazed again. Then found out i missed reanimation! So I got that.
Got to see LP for the first time this year!! In Nottingham on the 24th January 2008. Amazed once more.
Damn LP rock!
