Anyone heard if LP are recording a new album?

I know it sounds abit premature but has anyone heard if they are recording a new album yet or doing anymore collaborations?

I believe there taking some time to think some ideas for songs. Recording is pretty far down the road. Probably not 'til they're done with their tours of this year (and that's pretty early seeing as it's only been a year after MTM came out), but they might record something on they're portable recorders like they did for Meteora if they think of something.

I'm not so sure but my friend said it still might be a year or two before anything new comes out.

Can't wait though, I hope it'll be AWESOME!

They've started writing new music. How indicative of a timeframe for a new album that is remains to be seen. LP were writing material while still on the road in the summer of 2004, but we all know how much time their next album took.

I can't wait to hear any new stuff that they'll bring out in the future, but to be honest I'm a little apprehensive as well =/

I really liked MTM and all and I can understand that their trying new styles of music, but I'd really like them to bring some of their old stuff from Hybrid Theory and Meteora back cos I really liked those styles of music.

And I wanna hear more from Fort Minor too :)

Maybe not the next album, but I think they might come back. Heck, if they come back with the HT stuff, Mike better shave a little bit. He looks older than he really is to me. Then again, I might just be going crazy or something.

Whatever LP come out with, it'll be a progression from what they did before and it'll be better. :) That's all I can say, who knows what sonic direction they'll take? Whatever they do, it'll be Linkin Park, so you can judge from that ...
