Mike's New DC Remix Info?!

But does anyone have any info besides what he's giving on his blog on his new shoes? I saw the pics he put up and they look amazing! The blog says there's going to be a limited edition version coming out June 1st (I think that's correct, if not please correct for me). But if anybody has anything I would love to know and would appreciate any info. Thanks a million!!

P.S. If anyone has the old shoes (DC Clientele Remix)and would like to sell them to me in a size 12 or 13 I would be willing to purchase. Just hit me up..

They didn't have anything, I wasn't surprised though.

Anybody have any opinions on the shoes? I think they look great (from pictures so far). They look like they resemble a Vans sk8-hi type shoe, just with DCs quality and technology and Mike's creative genius. I'm a huge fan of the first shoe he did, I wish I had more pairs of them but I can't wait for this one to drop.

Ok, I just found this on Mike's blog along with the four pics I'm posting below:

I'm thinking that maybe this hidden info has something to do with the colors of the laces in the second picture. The 3 shoes appear to be the same but the color of the laces are different (obviously). Also if you notice, the artwork on the soles is different on the right/left shoe. Maybe the different color laces will have different art on them? Or maybe the shoes will just have 2 extra pairs of laces.

What I do know is that I haven't been this excited about shoes since I first got into sneakers. The shoes look absolutely amazing, and I hope I will be able to buy multiple pairs. I can't wait for these to release.

So like I've been saying since I started this thread, I'd love some ideas, opinions, comments. Anything that anybody would like to share. Especially you Mike Shinoda. I know you're around here somewhere, I hope you see this thread and let me know something.

Mike said there will be a hi-top and low-top version. And there is a "limited edition release". But which one is it? And does the "limited edition" hav a hi and low-top? Do they all? There are 3 shoes in the second picture with 3 different color laces. Maybe like I said before they're just different laces to swap in and out? Or maybe there's 3 different shoes? I don't know. If you look at the picture with the soles, you can obviously see they're transparent so you can see the artwork. But something I didn't notice before is that instead of DC's signature "pill" pattern, the clear rubber sole is scale shaped. I think the scales might be like a theme going with the artwork on the sides and bottom (there's fish in the artwork). Also the tongues are different on the hi and low-tops. And as Reem pointed out the low top tongue has "limited edition" in Japanese. This could either mean that the low-tops are the "limited edition" release or maybe it's just simple shoe construction difference between hi and lows.

Or maybe I'm just trying too hard.. :(

Guess we'll see.

And the art won't wear off it's under the sole. The sole is clear. Unless you're going to wear the sole down and then wear holes in the shoe I'm pretty sure you'll be ok :)

Yeah I would be so excited if he were to post in here. I'm such a big fan, Mike is like my hero. From his art, to the music, to the shoes, to being a positive role model and all that he's just an amazing dude. Somebody you can really look up to, so that's cool. If he were to post in here, no lie, I'd probably print it out and save it somewhere, or at least save it to my cpu.

in the meantime, here are the last preview pics of the shoe i'm going to post here on mikeshinoda.com. as you can see, there are actually TWO versions of my design. one based on the XANDER, one based on the PRIDE. i gave them thinner, skinnier profile than the normal xander and pride; they're not as puffy. they also both have my art on the side panels, and a clear koi fish scale sole with 4-color artwork underneath. one sole has a red design, one has a purple...with insoles to match. and just for your enjoyment, we added an extra comfortable satin lining and three waxed lace colors. again, LIMITED EDITION; get 'em while you can." -- mikeshinoda.com

i totally agree with you. i am damn stingy and id never spend more than 40 buck for shoes. my mom and i bought real leather dancing shoes two weeks ago for 70 bucks and i was whining all the time thats way to much for a pair of shoes until she told me to shut up *lol*
and i think the DC shoes are not even girls shoes Oo argh, need to go now, ran out of tissues. sucks having the flu in summer >_>

it doesnt matter, i just noticed it ^^ i sometimes wear men´s shoes too (my feet arent exactly small *lol*), in fact my fave ones are white senakers with a tribal on it made for men and i love them to death <3 tough the brand is called `Fake´ and if you google fake shoes you find everything but not the brand that made them *cough* sucks.

anyway, as far as i know DC shoes are pretty expensive themselves, and now imagine how much they would cost if mike designe them.... and im poor Q_Q and the colors dont really appeal to me.
but the sole is awesome-only problem is that it is hardly seen when you´re wearing the shoes Oo

i know that regular dc shoes go for about 85 euro, thats quite a bit of munny. i actullay think they look really nice and i would even wear them. BUT i would ruin them in 5 minutes and then i would be VERY sad. so, long story short, no cool Mikey shoes for me.

Oh, wait. It's his first experience with DC. Maybe later he will design shoes for women too and not only shoes... ;) :D Did you notice that he is a big fan of DC?

and it says it on backorder and ships on the 15th!
which sucks cause the other sizes are showing as 'in stock' now...wtf?but the size 10 is still saying 'shipping on the 15th' on bandmerch

No, I ordered size 10 "Xander" a couple of weeks ago and all sizes were to ship out on the 15th. Mine were shipped out today and I can't wait until they get here!!:D

just got them today and im in australia
pretty sweet shoes although now i wish id ordered 10.5s..
my other shoes are US 10s, and they say that theyre EUR44....but these says EUR43s......which doesnt make sense but oh well fits well enough
the box came in a bad condition...which is weird becuase the box is packed in another box, lined with airballoon padding...
but otehr than than, pretty happy with it.the red bits of the shoes are not pink like on the pictures...theyre more rose red.

and my toes can touch the end of the shoe when im walking.
