My friend's brother is starting to take estrogen and plans a sex change soon and she was terrified to tell me -- the funny thing is, I'm really excited that he's going to finally be who he is instead of hiding himself. He's part of a club at his college and he's happy with himself, his girlfriend of several years is cool with it, and I just wish more people would lighten up. It really isn't affecting any of the people who are being complete jerks to him, and I think that the people who are so offended are hiding something anyway ...
