OK, since I had some issues with a particular member on the old thread, I decided to create a new one, and to set some guidelines for this thread.

Violation of any of these guidelines may result in a report from me to a moderator. This is suppose to be a fun thread....
" If you don't have anything nice to say THEN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SAY IT." This is stated at the bottom of the LPMB rules, regarding Flaming. Plain and simple...
All pix should have some sort of citation of whom it is and where you got it. This is because, by legal technicality, all pictures are copyrighted, whether stated on the pic / site or not.
If someone (being the owner of the pic or their representative) contacts you asking you to remove the pic, you MUST comply. Again, this is because of the Copyright laws
No arguing with any member of this thread! Plain and simple, you don't like what someone is doing, kindly tell them THROUGH THE PRIVATE MESSAGE SYSTEM. This is what caused the start of this thread to begin with.I may be a little lax on guideline #2, but all others, I will be a hard-ass on.... sorry, but that's the way it's got to be because some people have issues with me posting random pix from Myspace.

PS: Again, these are guidelines, not rules. Guidelines are merely suggestions on behavior...
As for the reporting, I most likely won't, but, it all depends on the circumstance / nature of the "violation"

And I read those specifically for the Barracks... the main difference is that if the person takes what normally would be a flame as a joke, then it's not a flame.

FLAMING:

"Flaming" is the word we are using to describe put-downs and insults (name calling) and all offensive comments. Cursing at another user is also counted as flaming. As far as name calling goes, any offensive names (moron, idiot, asshole, etc) are flames, if you don't know whether it's a flame, don't say it, a moderator will decide whether to issue the warning/banning or not.

The Message Board is a very large community; we work hard for it to be a fun place to visit, and we need your help. If you don't have anything nice to say THEN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SAY IT.

So as stated, the ONLY difference is that you HAVE to report it in the Barracks, where as anywhere else, reported or not, it's not allowed.

On another note: as we are making progress between us about the situation, I may decide to remove the guidelines.

Oh... and as for creating this new thread pre-maturely being considered spam... I do not think so; though that is up for interpretation. There is nothing stated against it. The 2000 post thing is just so there is a clear cut off point to keep the boards running at their best. It's not mandated that the thread stays open until the thread reaches 2000 posts. I closed it because of the discussion that had consumed the thread....No I will not do it again anytime soon - even if you guys can't get off the Guideline discussion..

Right, but it was mostly due to the negativity (granted mostly on my part) of the discussion. Most people do not bother, but, as far as I know, there is nothing wrong with doing what I did.

If you wish, PM Liz and ask her if there is an issue with what I did. If there is, than so be it... I'll keep that in mind next time and she can re-open the old one and delete this one.

its hard for some people to put on weight though, I mean just today alone for lunch I had a whole plate of Vietnamese beef, chicken, veges, and noodle plate and it was huge and I ate the whole thing, and had a chocolate souffle and spicy chip things and I'm going to have lasagna soon, and I still fit in a us 0 (au 4 / 6 / 8 depending on brand). And I'm not toned, I have fat on me, there's just no way my body will let me weigh more currently.

I know what you mean though. I've seen people write about me, how "dirty" I appear in person and that the camera does me justice. Ugh, I just don't shave until a job requires me to! =(

alsooo the problem with the word unique is that lately it has been so overused it disgusts me, to the point where average people are "individuals" based on their clothing taste and what not , to the point where the truly unique are either ignored or ridiculed for being too unique. The mainstream world seems to like to use this need to be original and unique to boost the confidence of those who fail, thus not giving the spotlight to those who truly fucking are. Ie: Britney, Lohan, etc are famous but the best singers, poets, writers, artists, comedians,actresses etc who actually are innovative and unique are blatantly ignored. The world wants its individualism in small doses, in ways that everyone can relate to, because it sells, true individualism doesn't. I have more originality on the tip of my finger than they do in their entire body. But hey, no one pays attention to personality anymore, they just want the dulled down drowned version of it, anything else is just too intense.

Why not let a short girl with the same facial features and great bone structure model? why does she have to be 5'8 + if her face photographs just as well, thats what I don't get.
