Oh, and I also ate the gym floor in front of the entire student body during my junior year of high school. That was a treat.

I was doing a pep rally. They wanted me to spin around on a bat 10 times and then run across the gym and make a basket with a basketball. I spun around the ten times and grabbed the basketball to run, but like...the dizziness didn't catch up with me until I was about halfway across the gym. I looked down at my feet and saw like 12 pairs of shoes. I was like, "WHICH ONES TO A RUN WITH?!" I knew I was going to go down, so I just let myself go. I didn't even shield my face. I just smashed right into the floor and slid like...5 feet.

It hurt so bad, lol. I've needed a knee brace every since XD.

Oh, yeah! I joked that when I was supposed to go up and read my bit, I'd forget and knowing me, I'd probably look around like, "What the hell? Who are we waiting for?" And sure enough, during the ceremony, my part came, and I started looking around like, "What's going on? Who are we waiting for? Hello, people! Pay attention!" And then my sister looked over at me and was like, "That's you..." o.0

hmm... oh once i was in a school play, and the microphone totally went berserk. so they gave all the lead roles 2 microphones, so that we would have back up. if the one we were using broke, the sound guy would switch to the other microphone. but me and a couple friends were joking around and, one of mine fell off in the dressing room, but i didn't know it. so when one of my microphones cut out on stage, the sound guy switched to the other microphone, which was in the dressing room, and "AND THEN HE TOLD ME HE'D CALLED ME LIKE 20 TIMES AND NOW I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN IDIOT" came out over the speaker before the sound guy was able to switch it off.

thankfully, it was only a dress rehearsal, but it was totally hilarious.

for opening night, we used new microphones.

Okay, Chester's funny... He played the rest of the show with his broken wrist, before even getting seen for it... But he says that it's taken him so long to get his backpiece finished "because it fucking hurts!" The other day I was watching my friends play wii and I had a margarita in my hand...I mimicked a wii move in excitement and dumped the whole drink all down my back and all over my couch :/ Sadly no one even saw it, but I had to eventually stand up and then it was like....WOAH. Sopping wet and sticky :p

The other one that I enjoy is when I found out I didn't get into the lab I wanted for grad school. I was told by this really kinda big-shit professor who I was currently rotating with. She says they didn't know who to pick so they flipped a coin. I responded "that's the stupidest idea I have ever heard". And then she goes, "well, I thought if he was having such a hard time picking I would just suggest it". D'oh! Oh well. I still maintain it was fucking stupid way to determine the next 5 1/2 years of someone's life as well as the future of their professional career.

1. its my 15th birthday like 12 AM.. and my friend comes charging at me and lifts me in the air and goes "happy birthday happy birthday".. and then i go "i know im finally 15.. i've been 14 for what? like a year?!???" with all seriousness.. everyone either cracked up or looked at me like "wow your dumb" lol

2. for my 19th birthday i got a new phone... this really sexified shiny black LG.. omg it was beautiful lol.. so a couple of weeks go by and me my brother and boyfriend decided to go to coldstones (the best ice cream place ever)... so i put my bag on top of my car.. unlock the door.. get in and drive... we get there i get my yummy cake batter icecream with gram cracker crust and they ask me for my 5 dollars and then "FUCK WHERES MY BAG??" i left it on top of my car!! with my beautiful phone in there :( .. so driving back i see it in the street and it looks absolutely fine and like it wasnt run over.. so i pick it up and my phone is just missing.. so i start looking around like a maniac and i find my phone just smashed in a whole bunch of little peices.. my boyfriend was mad at me for like a week.. he hates my dumb moments.. and still hasnt let it down

this is like the freaking shittiest thing thats ever happened to me!
back in 9th grade i visited Rajasthan (N.India) along with a lot of my classmates
we were in this HUGE palace over there where all the flooring was perfect shiny marble ... beautiful - thats what i thought!
i was wearing my dear 2 year old floater/beach sandals and saying "they had no grip" would be the understatement of the year
so when i started to get down the stairs im like "okay .. one more set of marble stairs" .. before i continue i should say that i ALWAYS picture moments that may/may not come true .. and ALL of them have got something to do with being embarrassed :p
... while getting down the stairs i slipped on the edge of one of them and landed on the edge of another and slipped on that too and kept going the same way till the end all the while yelling "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"
and THEN i fell on my butt and sat there on the last step with my face covered in my hands..

funny part was that my friend was almost off the stairs when i started to get down .. she was like 2 stairs away from the bottom part while i was 15 away from the same .. and she got off the last stair and turned in surprise to see me sitting right behind her! :D (i'd have broken her bones if she'd been a milli second slower!)
and there were like 15 foreigners right behind me watching and saying "omg! she must be hurt! and shes CRYING!"
... no ... i was trying to control the fits of laughter that came bursting out and people went like "WHAT THE -"

I got all distracted like a raccoon with a paperclip, and lost myself to the wonder and awe of various fonts... I mentioned a few that I like here and there. (i wish i could draw it or something cuz i suck at explaining)
to me, the 'arrangement' looked like a lip-stick holder (pepper holder) and a lipstick (salt holder)

No problem. One kind is spoken in Guang Zhou, the other in Hong Kong. I don't speak Cantonese, so I can't provide much info. All I know is that their accents/tones are pretty much the same, it's just some words are pronouced differently. For example, 'you' in Cantonese is 'nei', but 'you' in Guang Zhou-nese is pronouced as 'lei'. I like French pretty much, I like the sound and the tones. Well, one, I almost broke my fucking arm. I was lifting a 400 pound grill off a cart in the back of the store, and the cart flipped and the grill fell and smashed my arm between the cart and the box. That hurt like a bitch.

But what hurt even moreso?

Uhm. Okay, my coworker Jason and I were loading a huge ass pool onto this guy's truck. We had to use a pallet jack because...the pool was like 200 pounds.

Pallet jack with 200 pound pool on it + Jade's foot = OUCH.

Broke my fucking foot. How fun is that? Spent 2 hours in the ER. Didn't cast it since it's just the top of my foot. Good thing is, works paying for it all XD.

It was dark though. So, I should be cut some slack :D

my Mom texted 'ok' to my phone last afternoon and i recieved it (first time)
then i recieved it again in the night (second time)
when she was one room away i texted her back asking her whats the deal with that 'ok' at night!
5 minutes back i recieve another message from Mom saying 'ok' o.O
Me: Mom!!! did you just text me 'ok'??? i didnt even say anything/ask anything! whats it about?
soon after i send that message i get another ok!

I had a hoodie on because I got a little chilly while I was sitting outside earlier. I got too hot with it on inside. My brother was sitting at the computer. So, I like...started pulling the hoodie off. But I got all caught in it and everything. So, I was pulling my other shirt half off too. I was grunting and screaming, "AHH! OH MY GOD!"

He started laughing and goes, "Do you need help?" I was like, "No.." and fought my way out of it. It totally sucked dude.

It was at the Meet and Greet on Sunday.

They lady that seated us told us we could take pictures, but we couldn't use the flash. And also that we weren't allowed to take video.

Well, dude, I'm a jerk, so I took a video anyway. I was sitting right beside Mike. And I took the video and I flipped my camera back over to picture mode and without looking at it, snapped another picture.

I was like...not even three feet away from him. And my flash went off RIGHT IN HIS EYES. I was like :eek:.

I took a green bag with me to the show, and I had to take it back in the MnG with me because I didn't have anything else to do with it. Well, in the excitement, I forgot all about my bag. So, I totally left the meet and greet area and just left my bag sitting back with Mike and Rob...lmfao.

I had to go up to this security guy afterward and be like, "Okay, dude. I just had a meet and greet. I don't want to go back there, but I forgot my bag. I need that bag." Okay. I was pulling back my bed, because I have to plug my laptop in behind it. My mattress started to fall, so, I jumped backward really far to get away from it falling. While my left leg landed fine on the ground, my right leg fell between the wire meshing that holds my mattress up.

Let's see... a while back when my ex was at my place we went out to buy food from the supermarket. We decided we didn't want to cook so we bought one of those already made chickens like the ones they sell in Boston Market, but from Publix. So we get home.. I had the munchies because I just had finished getting baked and my kitchen is very "white". Any who my father has one of those horizontal freezers [which is white] and while my ex was talking to her mom on the phone I decided to cut the chicken so I could get a wing or a thigh..

But keep in mind.. I was baked.. and I was mad hungry from the munchies.

While I was cutting the chicken the tray it was in kept sliding closer and closer to the edge of the freezer which there is a gap in between for the garbage and then the stove [which is also white]. But I did not notice because the gap between the corner and the floor in a way blended with the freezer as if I felt the freezer was much longer when it wasn't.. I was so focused on that piece of chicken wing that after so much trying to cut it.. eventually the tray and the chicken just slid and fell to the floor :(. My ex dropped the phone and gave me the craziest look. "Did you just drop the chicken!?"

I went home over Thanksgiving. I went to the grocery store with my mom, and we were hauling around my brother's three-year-old daughter (who I ADORE) with us. She was sitting in the cart-kid-basket-thing and I was pushing her through the store. We were both minding our own business, just waiting for my mom to get done with her shopping. I was looking at something on the shelf next to me and all of a sudden, my niece starts screaming, "EWWWW!!!!" I was like, "What?? What's wrong??" She goes, "GET AWAY FROM ME, AUNT DADE!" I was like, ":confused: What is WRONG?"

One time I was sitting in a pizza parlour with my friends.
The stool I was sitting on was slightly off balance to the rest.

I didn't think anything of it until I fell off flat on my face in front of a packed pizza place.

I wouldn't call that dumb. I'd just call that a lapse in memory. Everybody gets it from time to time. I often get it. I go into a room and I forget what it was I was supposed to be looking for.

Since i only was going to have the test in Science, i thought it was at the same thime as it usually were. I came at 12, and thought the test was at 1.30. I was supposed to leave at 2.15, and the test was at 2.30. Dont think i can call it a dumbass moment, but it was pretty embarrassing.

I struggled with classical music too for a while but if you keep memorising the musical directions and stuff then you should get by ok. What classical piece are you studying?

Baroque music really annoyed me. I couldn't stand it.

For my exams two years ago I studied Bach and Tchaikovsky. The Bach was so annoying because the themes were a little difficult to identify whereas the Tchaikovsky piece only had three main themes which were very easy to identify. I guess it all comes down to what pieces you study.

If you had the exact same things, the teacher can't give you a worse mark. Did you ask him/her what kind of mistakes you did? Without a proper explanation he/she can't just give you a mark you don't deserve. Well, at least it's in germany like that, no idea if it's in norway too. =/

my dumbass moment was me trying to pour myself orange juice. there was a cup on my desk that i thought was empty so i go to grab it as if it were as light as a feather and somehow i threw the orange juice that was inside my cup onto myself. so apparently i had orange juice that was sitting on my desk for a bit and forgot about it.

I did something like that a few nights ago. Except it--...Okay, it was totally different, BUT ANYWAY.

I was eating at Chili's with my friend and we had gotten some Queso dip. I was dipping my fries into it and had just done that. I was bringing the fry to my mouth, and honestly, I have no idea how this happened (ask anyone who knows me on here and they'll tell you, stuff like this only happens to me).

The fry FLEW out of my hand, smacked me in the chin and landed on my perfectly white under-tank. I was so upset, lol. I have no idea how it happened but it ruined my effing shirt! :mad:

It has actually happen before with my norwegian teacher. I won't bother to send another reply to the music shit because i simply hate him. Next year we will have film music and i know i'll get a better mark than i did this year.

I was just scrolling through old threads and I found this one. How did it go so long without new posts?

Anyways I have something to contribute.

My roommate is in a band and we went to some park cuz they were performing for a birthday party. They were the last band in the line up (headliners if you will). After they played and a majority of the crowed left I pulled out my hackie sack. So me and the band are playing in the only lighted area at the park, wich just so happens to be between a couple of rows of picnic tables. Well one of them kicks it over my head so I turn to keep it from hitting the ground (fully aware of the presence of the picnic tables). I calculate the distance for thick and the velocity in wich i'd have to kick it to put it back into play, but I fail to determine the distance between me and the table. The hackie sack lands on the corner of the table just as my foot slams into the bottom of it. The table must've lifted at least an inch and slammed back down.

The birthday girl along with about 10 family members and the band all broke out in laughter.

So there's 3 of us in the truck now and she's between me and the other guy, leaving very little room between each of us. Well I grab hold of a box of brooms on one end and as I'm lifting it to put it on the line the opposite end nails the HR right in the ass.

So, the other day, I was trying to fix my bedsheets which rudely fall off all the time because of the crap mattress cover I have. And as I was yanking the sheet back up on the underside, the entire mattress fell down on top of me.

So, I was sandwiched in between the mattress and the frame, kicking my legs, and screaming at the top of my lungs.

I put my hands on the frame to try to lift myself back up and both my arms went through the frame....essentially mutilating my left hand and right arm.

I was bleeding all over the place, but could not stop laughing hysterically. I could not stop thinking about how funny it must have looked to see me sticking out from between the mattress and the frame with my legs kicking, screaming like a 4 year old girl.
