Forgotten is truly the...forgotten LP song.

I went on a site that has info about many songs. I typed in Linkin Park and there was no Forgotten. Forgotten is probably my favourite Linkin Park song. There was By Myself, In Between (another favourite) and of course the obvious. Where was Forgotten? I wanted this information for a fave song project but there was nothing so I jsut did Numb instead.

Why is Forgotten so....forgotten?
I mean it's remix Frgt/10 was released as a single and there's a demo and I believe that a Xero song contained a lot of this song?

Forgotten is wicked awesome, the bass part makes me feel high, seriously.
It is kinda forgotten, but why , I dont know..

But yes, Forgotten is a great song, probably my favorite from Hybrid Theory. I wish they'd dust it off and stick it back in their live sets, they haven't played it in over six (!) years.

Are you sure? It's got it's own vinyl and stuff so I'd imagine that it's a single. Anyway, they really need to bring it back. Once Meteora came out they stopped playing it for some reason.

Forgotten is the first song that I actually liked by LP, so I love it :)

maybe they will play it once again at a live show but I guess the chance for that isn't very high =/

Are you sure? It's got it's own vinyl and stuff so I'd imagine that it's a single. Anyway, they really need to bring it back. Once Meteora came out they stopped playing it for some reason.

It didn't get its own vinyl, it was on a spilt vinyl with Enth e Nd (I have one that's signed by the band), as well as a promo called "Reanimation - The Hip-Hop Remixes" which was those 2 songs plus H! Vltg3, both of those were pretty much just vinyls for club DJs. They did show the video a bit on MTV, but to my knowledge it was never even released to radio.

Forgotten and By Myself are the most underrated LP songs, IMO. Love how Forgotten starts off so abruptly, Mike and Chester go back and forth rapid fire, etc. LOVE the chorus in that song. It should have been a single off of HT (maybe replacing One Step Closer or Cralwling). I think Runaway, Forgotten and Pushing Me Away all would've done great as singles.

Yeah I love the chorus. In fact I love the whole song but I wonder to this day why the nearly as good (imo) By Myself overshadows it. Forgotten should be played again but they should probably modify it when it's played live to make it more enjoyable.

So I'd assume they would probably never play those songs again. Forgotten has that same "bounce up and down" vibe to it that Hit the Floor has. Just a thought.

Well, he said it's sort of like when you take up a sport, and practice to get better over the years. Then when you've gotten considerably better, you look back and say "Wow, that was me? I could totally take him now."

Hit the Floor and Nobody's Listening...two songs I could never get into. They're too cheesy for my liking. I could see why he'd dislike them. As for Runaway, it's a good song, but very childish and remember, they played it pretty much all the time between the Hybrid Theory days and Bamboozle '07. I'd say I'd be pretty P.O'd at the song, too.

Awwww man, I love Forgotten, it's pretty different song from the others on Hybrid Theory. The chorus is the unique part that makes it special, to me. My first LP concert was last year, so I never heard this song live yet. :(

Figure.09 also had a short life, you don't much appreciation to that song and they haven't played it live in awhile.
