i'm a go off-topic for a sec; what do you people think of "somewhere i belong"? do you think it's awesome? maybe the best song on the album? and so on ... ;)

Anyway, Fuse is actually the third track on the tape. But it's pretty good, nothing special (then again none of the Xero material really is, except maybe for Reading My Eyes)

Fuse is awesome. It's the only song where Mark screams at the right time to make it sound pretty good.

I agree,MarathonMan, he does scream at the right time, that's why im after the live version, it would be interesting to see what he can do with fuse live, but yeh its no where to be found=]

Xero did play some liveshows. This piece of information is confirmed by Mike Shinoda himself. The bootlegs just never showed up, that's all. However there were rumors about Xero's bootlegs here and there.

there are also flyers that have xero's name, day, hour and place. I got two of them at least. But Xero is supposed to have played a lot in the LA Whiskey

Yea, I think Fuse was the concluding song they would play at the Whisky. I have never heard of any rumors of live Xero songs (apart from Reading My Eyes in LPU6.0 which is not a rumor, but I've seen posts on youtube stating the track listing. They usually played about 7-9 songs includiing the Xero songs, and the demos to some Hybrid Theory Songs and HTEP songs. If I recall, Esaul, Fuse (for sure it was played), Stick n Move, Rhinestone, and The Untitled were listed. I'm not sure about Reading My Eyes and Super Xero were there, but I'm pretty sure they were played, and maybe Carousel and Part Of Me we in there somewhere but I can't imagine Mark getting the screams right on the Part Of Me demo.

I love everything on Xero :) Even though it didnt get signed, its kinda funny how Mark left and Chaz came and they got singed with the help of jeff blue and HT EP! :)

i can't picture Mark pulling that out either. legend has it that they played the demos to both of those songs.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I know for sure that they didn't play And One because, "This is the first song that we made when Chester came into the band" (Live at Rock am Ring 2001). I wonder what Mike looked like when he did the Xero stuff. When I listened to Stick n Move, I could tell it was him, but it sounded as if I were the one rapping to the song. Either way it was still good. Do you have any pictures of when Mike was doing the Xero stuff? Or, even better, before the Xero tape? I know what he looked like when he was doing HTEP, so don't bother with the FPATPF garage performance or Jamming with Hybrid Theory.

Lol. I never knew Mike used to look like a nerd XD. Jk, but I hope, in some 1 in a billion chance that he sees this thread, that he posts about his life. Lol, thank God he stuck his hair up for Hybrid theory. And the prom one looks funny for me for some reason, but he looks the same as he does now in that picture, except for the close and hair. I never knew he even had hair that long. I thought it was always short and either stuck up or slicked back somewhat, like the garage band performance.
