i was just looking at the forums what people were saying about this song and its like... theres only people who hate it or people who love it.

i didnt see anyone saying "yea its alright" "not too bad" etc.

what do you think about the song?

It's "just ok". Not too bad in itself, but sounds like a rehash of My December, and feels kind of like filler in an album with already enough ballads.

I love this song!!i think chesters voice sounds really nice on it, and its got a brilliant lonely atmposphere to it. also i think its really effective the way the chorus doesnt come in till right near the end and then the song stops so suddenly.:D

i think people think becuase its called VALENTINES DAY its a "pussy" song or whatever. if you listened and read the lyrics, excellent. even fall out boy couldnt of done better. =P

It's a good song, I like every aspect of it ....... except the chorus lyrics "On a Valentines day". Although I really like the way that part is sung.
But the lyrics in general are strong and well written. A welcome change.

When I first heard this song, hated it and considered it the worst song on the album. BUT, I listened to it a couple of times, read the lyrics and saw the story the band were trying paint, and now I love it. Not my favourite from Minutes to Midnight, but it's high up there.

This song used to just be alright with me but lately its meant something else. I go to NIU and on valentines day we had a horrible and terrifying incedent. Its been tough for me to express my self but this song seemes to express everything ive been feeling for the past week. In a sense this song has saved me and helped me alot. Gotta Thank LP for this one.

It's decent. Not fanastic, but not that bad. In Between is the absolute worst song they've done. This is coming from a guy who thinks MTM is better than the others in a lot of aspects. Just....ugh.

I think that the chorus is the BEST part of the whole song. Sure the lyrics in that part don't mean anything great but they're powerful to hear. The rest of the song is a bit too slow for my liking.....brilliant lyrics though:)
