I see people have finally come around and appreciate this album. It's such a change from the last time I posted on here back last may. People just said whatever and it was such a letdown. I just quit coming here and trying to defend what I believed and just appreciated the album.

seems like other folks have grown up and its great to see :D .

well, if u´ve been away.. there has been pretty many threads about this..

and there where and are many ppl, who loved M2M right away and still do.. also lot of those who got it a lil later.

Hey, toked me a couple months to actually like the album. Despite it isn't my favorite of LP, its on number 3, (with meteora on 1st and HT on 2nd) you will actually like it. I started to like osme songs like what ive done, given up...them later shadow of the day,bleed it out, wake etc...even TLTGYA...but still i hate in between, valentines day and HHH. Those i cant listen.


So its actually a good album.

Hands Held High was and still is my favorite. The lyrics, and melody and everything about it is magical.

Yeah. Took a little listening to in order to appreciate. I only liked WID and Given Up going in and came out liking just about every track (In Between and VDay have even grown on me :eek:)

well i think it just took some people longer to adjust...
i mean our first reaction to change is always to oppose it.
in life there's always change. but sometimes we just don't expect our favorite band to change so drastically

and i just think it takes some time for everyone to go "hey this is different, but you know, it's still the same linkin park, and they're still really good at what they do!"

i mean i still love them like hell... it's a really good album.
i think it took us this long to finally start to understand what lp meant when they say that this album is the best one they've ever made...

and if anyone is hating on it cuz they changed some aspects of their music, i mean if you don't like it it's your choice...
but if you don't give it a chance... you're gonna miss out.

and i think a band has the right to change...
if they feel different, or they're tired of the same thing...
everyone's growing up ya know...
if they stay the same just so more people will like them...
they don't care about their music... either that or they're in junior high xD

and if anyone feels like it's better to stay popular than to make good music you enjoy making, throw the old 50 cent quote at them: "go head switch your style up and if they hate then let em hate and watch the money pile up"

so lp, rock on. =)

It's just really amazing how their lyrics have so many different meanings.

Anyways,it didn't take me 10 months to appreciate this album and respect their unexpected change,I just played it for a second time-and voilá!They completely changed my perception about MTM!
But until now,I still don't like In Between...The only LP song I hate...

A lot of people were fighting about this album for a long time. It got pretty ugly at the LPU, too. I'm glad more people like it and appreciate it now. It's a beautiful album ^___^
