How would you rate LP's New Style of Music to their Old Style?

They're both awesome,but it's the old LP that made me like them.New LP is pretty cool...But I REALLY miss the old LP.
Their decision to change musically was quite risky, but I think that people should respect LP's effort to create something different and not just make Meteora/HT the Sequel.

Unlike everyone else, I really can't see "Old LP" vs. "New LP" styles. Hybrid Theory EP style is different from Hybrid Theory style is different from Reanimation style is different from Meteora style is different from Minutes to Midnight style. There really isn't an definite old style, even though every single other person here is going to disagree with me.


That being said, it's all good.

True. But Hybrid Ep, LP, Meteora, are labeled as Nu Metal. Same with Reanimation I think.
I really like both actually and but I gotta go with the old LP because I got into them by their Nu Metal style.

it runs deeper than just labeling them as "nu metal". This thing has been discussed over 123190231028717 million times already.

And Rob is true, there were differences between all their releases. But HT EP, HT LP, Reanimation and Meteora do have "constants" whereas in MTM, everything they adopted new elements to their music. So there is a difference between MTM and the so called Old Style, because they did have a style back then.

The only thing that indicates that the songs from MTM are from Linkin Park it's because it has Chester and/or Mike on them, if not, i doubt u'd realize it was LP.

I actually agree. I mean, if you take a HT song, fair enough you couldnt put it on MTM, but you also couldnt put it on Meteora, cos it just wouldn't work. MTM is generally lighter with a lot less rap style vocals than the previous albums though, so there is a difference there. I think theyre all awesome though. :D

I also prefer the old albums, especially Meteora. But new albums sound is also f-cking dope and it rocks!
