Joel reports that 104.9fm - XFM (UK) announced today that Linkin Park's next single is 'Given Up', it will be released some time in February, he forgot which date.

i don't want another single -- 3's enough. :o if they keep going, they'll wind up like they did with "meteora", releasing almost every song on the album as a single.

every song they could release off "minutes to midnight" is so out-there for LP that everyone'll think they're just giving these singles for shock value ...

The singles chosen are mostly soft songs,so I really want to see LP's interpretation of the non-soft songs visually.Especially songs like Given up and NMS.So I really hope this rumour is true. =)

i'm half-serious right now -- i love the album and i think MTM could do fine without 50 singles saturating the radio [figure of speech!]. see, i liked "breaking the habit" a lot more before it got played everywhere i went. :o

But hearing them on the radio is better than on an ipod.It's just different (am I a freak cause I think this way?) because you know LP is being played and heard by thousands of people at the same time.Btw,I often hear LOATR on the radio and it's not even a single...It's just because it's extremely radio friendly that's all...

i've heard probably all mtm in the radio by now. They play Given Up more often than any other song since MTM was released.

Apparently, at the Manchester concert yesterday, Mike announced they were filming live footage from this tour for their new Given Up video. At least, that's what a bunch of people from the LPU said.
