Event Horizon, You Got Served, Stomp The Yard, all those other stupid dancing movies, Epic Movie, Date Movie, anything Bernie Mac or the Wayans brothers have ever touched...
One of my hobbies is downloading awful movies and then hating myself for doing so.

Bats
Pretty good review of it that I found on IMDB:
"Yet another made-for-TV stinker starring Lou Diamond Phillips, `Bats' is probably one of the saddest attempts at a horror film I've ever seen. Imagine Alfred Hitchcock's `The Birds.' Now take away every good Hitchcock element of the film and replace the birds with mutant bats with a taste for human flesh. Mix in a dash of torrid acting by washed up actors and a predictably dull plot and you have the modern marvel of cinema that is `Bats.' This movie takes itself too seriously to be laughed at like other bad horror films. Avoid at all costs."

Also Supernova
"I bought this used on video about 2 years ago and never got around to watching it until today. I am glad that I haven't wasted my time before this. Normally I am a big fan of Sci-Fi action movies like The Matrix and Event Horizon. Supernova is unoriginal, unfulfilling and uninspiring. This movie is an upgraded 80's B movie. I enjoyed "Hard Rock Zombies" better than this piece of crap. The plot is rushed along and the secondary characters get killed off too quickly. The stupid medical robot thing looked like an 8th grade science project. The only cool part of the movie were the dimensional transportation scenes, but that isn't saying much. There is no explanation given as to why the villain aquires his powers, and his relationship with Angela Basset is glossed over. The sad thing is that people were paid to create this junker. Normally, I like bad movies if you can laugh at them (Hard Rock Zombies), but not this one. This movie had so much potential that was wasted on gratuitous nudity shots and such. I apologize if this review is messy, but having just seen it, my mental stat e is damaged. Avoid this at all costs, unless you want to be flabberghasted by a horrible plot, acting, effects, etc for 90 minutes."

Mortal Kombat 2 :p
"You know, I really liked the original Mortal Kombat. Sure they ripped off the premise from another movie, but at least it was good (Enter the Dragon). I loved the games until the 4th one and was widely known as being one of its best and most devoted followers. So maybe all this is why my then-girlfriend's idiot stoner brother told me that he heard this movie was incredible, and I excitedly went to see it.
I'm a patient guy, and I have almost never felt the urge to walk out of a movie due to boredom (Tank Girl is the only other one I recall). But MKA here is a joke. If you really feel the need to see this movie and be surprised, then be forewarned because there are spoilers ahead.
Here's one right off the bat. MKA isn't a sequel proper to the original Mortal Kombat. The original MK was, reasonably, based on the first game. A couple future characters made cameos, but that's it. So it stands to also reason that MKA would be about the second game, the one most fans widely regard to be the best. But whereas the MK film was made at the time that part 2 was yielding to part 3, a lot changed in the extra couple years it took for this film sequel. As MK the movie was leaving theaters, MK3 the game was getting kind of a lukewarm reception, and people got sicker and sicker of it by the time MK4 came out. By now the games were in 3d and the storyline had gone from basic Enter the Dragon tournaments to all out apocalyptic robot wars and sorcerors controlling the fates of a bunch of new, generic characters. Until its decent reinventing in 2002, the MK games had hit a rough and oversaturated spot and would take 5 years to bounce back.
So here in this worst time comes MKA, which skips the best chapter of the games entirely and jumps in at sort of a story junction between the 3rd and 4th games, the worst. So we have characters from all 4 games running around and interacting, which is goofy as it is, and things get worse when sense is tried to be made of it. For example, (spoiler), in maybe the first 2 minutes Johnny Cage, a main character and semi-hero of the first movie, is summarily and unceremoniously killed off. My guess for this is because he wasn't in the 3rd game.
Soon after (more spoilers. In fact, there will be several so if you continue, do at the risk of ruining the wonderful cinematic experience that is MKA), robots from game 3 come in, negating the fact that their sole purpose in the games was to hunt Sub Zero, a character killed in the first movie. Leading the attacks by these fiends and others is Shao Kahn, who in the first movie appeared as a giant demonic face in the sky and here appears as....a masculine human being.
Making things moe complicated is that elder God Raiden, played by Christopher Lambert in the original, is here played by someone else and seems to not want to fight at all, as the character has gone from wizardly power god to short haired, weasely Power Rangers nerd, giving up his immortality in the process and teaching our heroes a thing or two about friendship and courage. Huh?
Sticking things out, unfortunately for them, are Robin Shou and Talisia Soto, who play central characters Liu Kang and Kitana and who've returned from the original film. This time, neither of them are allowed to do anything much more than look shocked at the stupid story developments, and Liu Kang engages in a few fights that capture none of the magic or uniqueness of the original film. And in fact this goes for any fight in this film that I care to remember. In the original, the fights were well choreographed and showcased a good selection of acrobatic and martial arts skill. Action was conveyed through close combat, good angles, and lengthy tradeoffs. And at the very least, there was a genuine moment or two where one might say "wow, that was a cool move!". This time, a lot of the action is illusional, with the camera making quick cuts and sudden moves to sort of convey that stuff is going on. There's nary an actual hand-to hand combat scene that lasts more than 30 seconds, and when you see what else was thrown in instead, you'll want to kill someone yourself.
For example, remember the character Baraka, with his beast face and bladed arms? He's here, and in fact is joined by several identical others, who assault Liu Kang with their reflective cardboard blades in a high-flying trapeze act straight out of the circus. And what about Sheeva, 4-armed character that should have been the answer to decently done Goro, 4-armed creature of the original film? Well, whereas he was conveyed through puppeteering and animatronics, here Sheeva is played by a tall woman in generic spandex who tries to look menacing and does a couple unthreatening hops with her cheesy extra special effect arms.
Things (don't) pick up later on, when Liu Kang randomly encounters Native American character Nightwolf, who explains that Liu must harness his "animality" to succeed. Anyone familiar with the MK universe knows that the "animality" was a ridiculous player rumor which supposed that the MK games contained a method of killing one's opponent by turning into an animal and committing not a fatality but an "animality". This dumb rumor was added to the 3rd game as fan service, and apparently delighted the producers of this film enough that it was actually explained as a real, feasible occurence. "Feel your animality", N.Wolf says to Liu, urging him to harness the beast within. Mr. Wolf then briefly shows Liu how to do it, and then asks,
"pretty cool, huh?"
We who haven't left the room yet are saying "no", but oh boy do we still get a fun surprise. At the end of the film, Liu Kang fights with big masculine guy (er, Shao Kahn), and instead of actual wanted fisticuffs, we get to see the two of them feel their animality and turn into giant, god awful stupid computer-generated beasts who do combat with each other. No, I mean it. They turn into giant computer animated beasts. And we're not talking about Gollum of the Lord of the Rings here- I mean big, shiny, plasticy-looking "we know we want to make big magical creatures but don't yet have the technology to do anything but make them eye-strainingly obvious" effects. Liu Kang could reasonably have turned into a cool chinese dragon or something, but instead winds up being this big-nosed, cross eyed, dopey dragon thing. Shao Kahn turns into something equally ridiculous and less memorable and the two have it out. Then at the last minute Shao Kahn's sorceror dad decides he's gone too far, disgraced the family name by becoming a crappy visual effect, and makes him disappear or something. Then everyone hugs, and more or less runs far, far away.
I hope that this has been an accurate rendering of what my feelings are for this film, because I actually haven't seen it in several years. I don't hate myself enough to watch it more than that. But if you want an actual review without the sarcasm, just look at it this way: It is an insult to the MK franchise and its fans, it fails as a follow-up to the fun original MK film, it fails TERRIBLY as a martial arts film, and in general it just is a dumb waste of time, an arbitrary, thrown-together cash-in sequel. Do yourself a favor and just watch the original, and if you still crave more, go play the games. And if you do insist on seeing this movie, then at the very least inject some fun into it like trying to figure out where those Baraka masks were purchased."

Mortal Kombat 2 :p
[...]
They were shooting Mortal Kombat Devastation in Orlando but then Katrina came and i think the production was cancelled or something. The movie ignored MKA and picks off immediately where the first movie ended. The original cast was also was working on it.
Linden Ashby hints at reprising his role as Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 3.

And the worst movies i've ever seen, pretty much every natural and not-that-natural disaster movie except for armaggedon and deep impact.
Generation X and a weird movie "based" on the Justice League of America.

Hostel, and Hostel 2. I'm a big horror fan, and so when I see shit labeled as "The New Generation of Horror!!!", I expect it to be at least half-way scary, and not rely completely on gore so over the top it you laugh at loud while watching it. Glorified torture-porn was all those movies were.

Well, I was pretty curious to see Gigli when they showed it on tv, just because it was bashed I had to see why with my own eyes. Well... it definitely hit me why the movie has got to be the worst of them all by the time J.Lo appeared. Propably pointless to say I didn't watch the whole movie.
Somebody mentioned Bats earlier, got to agree. The fact that it had the Lucy Lawless (Xena) in it made it worth checking out, though. I'ma quote someone here: "That movie was more like a presentation of an ordinary day of a bat investigator." AKA N.O.T scary.
I'd love to bash more movies, but none come in mind for now. =(

There was this movie about Italian dragon slayers... one of the worst movies i've ever seen. bad sfx, bad dialogues, horrible acting. Just like "El Noctambulo" the first and probably the last uruguayan superhero. I never laughed so much about a movie.

Really? I think it fits perfectly on my list. I do have to give credit for the colors in the movie though but that's about it. Amelie is way too naïve, cute, fairytale-like, materialistic... and boring. A big disapointment after all the hype and "gosh, it's the best movie I have ever seen!!!"-comments. I'd like to have my cotton candy in eatable form, thank you very much. Movie cannot be build just on Tautou's smile and postcard-like views.
Or maybe my brain, destroyed by blood and guts flying all over the screen, is unfit to receive all that artistry and French humour Amelie contains. :D

Because in the early 70s horror films really weren't anything like what was in The Exorcist. They relied on monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein and the Swamp Thing and what have you. The use of a child, the involvement of demonic forces, the special effects, were all new and uncharted territory when The Exorcist came out.

All the Texas Chainsaw movies and any one like them cause their all the same slasher movie bout some traveling group that gets killed by some crazy rednecks.
Hostel both of those movies no plot, and just glorified gore.
Saw 4 all it was was a rehash of the originals with a little extra plot but it wasn't as talented and i guessed the 'suprise' ending ten minutes in.
Hairspray and any other musical boring and unrealistic.
The last two Resident Evil movies they ruined the game series and steered so far away from the games plot its sad.
Solaris i fell asleep before finishing this boring ass movie.
Any movie by Uwe Bolle anything this guy touches turns to shit.
And theres some more they were just so shitty i repressed them from memory

Snakes On A Plane was like the worst thing ever as pretty much all the snakes aren't even real!
The Wilderness. It made me laugh but the camera filming was shite.
Predator. I was expecting something WAY more scary, I mean it's Arnold Schwarzeneggar!!
Alien. It made me laugh again. I was told it was horrible, especially at the part where the alien jumped out of the guy LMAO!
Open Water - must've been filmed by a beginner camera man, as it was crap!

exactly. sometimes less is more... but raimi thought it'd be cool to have shallow characters hitting each other every 15 mins.
it was exciting to know that venom was in the movie, but sandman and the hogoblin were really not needed. Those two characters made venom less important in the storyline and it'd have been exactly the same if he was in the movie or not in the end.
i hope raimi redeems himself in the 4th movie.

the original Starship Troopers movie was excellent and possibly the best sci fi epic i've ever seen. the second one got rid of the main characters, it didn't expand on Johnny Ricos story, the acting sucked, the special effects were downgraded from the original. apparently they're coming out with a third movie with the characters from the first, hopefully it turns out good and not the hunk of crap that was Starship Troopers 2

I know dude...I thought the story was continuing on the 2nd one. When the story was different, I was DISAPPOINTED! It didn't have that vibe compared to Starship Troopers. Is the 3rd one directed from the first director? Or is it the 2nd (if it is, I'm not gonna watch it...).

I know dude...I thought the story was continuing on the 2nd one. When the story was different, I was DISAPPOINTED! It didn't have that vibe compared to Starship Troopers. Is the 3rd one directed from the first director? Or is it the 2nd (if it is, I'm not gonna watch it...).
idk from what i've seen its just a rumor, i hope if they are really making a third one the characters do come back and the original director is doing it

The worst movies that I have ever seen are as follows:
Cabin Fever
Dead End
Vacancy
Captivity
Broken
Wolf Creek
Wrong Turn 2 (I actually enjoy the corniness of the first one, however)
Bats
Hostel
Nightmare on Elm Street part 2
Hard Candy
I don't really remember bad non-horror movies unless they're mentioned to me. Horror is my favourite genre, and therefore I have to remember what the shit ones are so I don't end up wasting my money on them. xD

I hope you're referring to the American version, because the Japanese version is fantastic.
Amelie.
Oh my god, I love you.
I thought I was the only person in the world that wasn't woo'd by this movie. It was so boring. -___-
Children of the Corn-movies.
And now I don't love you, because Children of the Corn (first one) is one of my favourite movies. Classic horror is fantastic, and it was certainly one of the good Stephen King adaptations. In my opinion, of course.
We watched Grease years ago to see what the hype was about, cos apparantly people STILL love this movie. But it is soooo boring and pathetic.
Grease is over rated, but it isn't terrible.

It just didn't do anything for me. It was a reasonable storyline, but I don't like it when films go "la, la BOOM torture" kinda thing. I can't really remember it that well, since I saw it a while ago. But I don't recall her motives(other than him being a paedophile), why was she so fucked up?
Maybe it's one of those I should watch again. Since when I saw it I had my ex sat next to me, chipping in every 10 seconds like he always did. He's one of those "that wouldn't blow up!" people. I really hate that. o__O

Be Kind, Rewind - Still can't believe I wasted money to see it in the cinema.
The Game - Ridiculous plot.... Biggest waste of two hours of my life.
Vacancy - Same stupid modern horror plot. Predictable and at tiimes extremely annoying imo.
Cheaper By The Dozen - *yawns*
10,000 B.C - I really didn't understand what the hell was going on. I took a chance cos the trailers made it look so good. Oh how they lied.
Sex and the City - Maybe I just hate it because I've never watched any of the tv shows but it's a very misleading title for a film. Lots of city, very little sex.

You have to watch the series and like it to like the film. Because, storywise, the film carries on some years after the end of the sixth series.
There was a lot more sex in the TV show. Emma told me that they cut it down for the movie. I haven't actually seen it yet though, but I loved the series.

It's not meant to be some kind of epic movie, it's there purely for comic value. The Anaconda with teeth gives that away, even if nothing else does! lol
So I will admit it, it's not what I'd personally call a great movie. But it's not terrible, I mean it's funny. And it just reminded me of a plane related movie that was god-awful.

Do you really mean all movies with the actors you mentioned? I mean people like Hilarry Duff i can understand as most of her movies are quiet similar, but people like Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey have more than one genre. I think that Hitch was good. But Corpse Brie was shite :)
There's a Mario Bros movie? haha!
I fell asleep in Hitch
And yes, there is a Mario movie, but it rips off the game and shits on it. The only thing Mario is the title, the clothes (except Bowser, who's a HUMAN DISGUISED AS A DINOSAUR). And Yoshi, and Toad, who's a BUSKER) and the names.

I thought Bowser was just some rich dodgey guy with a bit of "bling" in that movie?

The Messengers.
That movie was predictable. I personally enjoyed it, however. Probably because John Corbet was in it.

I want the two hours of my life back that I spent watching Don't Mess With the Zohan.. Not that Adam Sandler is bad, but that movie certainly was.

in my opinion, zohan wasn't that bad. i thought some parts were pretty funny... but i'll admit, it wasn't amazing, like i thought it would be. i mean, the commercial... yeah but, i'm fine wit my two hours of life...
but then, i was watching it while "studying" for my english final, so i dunno how much my opinion counts for...

-Borat
Boart was brilliant, you just need a risque sense of humour
-The Happening
That's been getting really negative reviews, but I really want to see it :(

In order to enjoy that pile of tosh you need a shoddy excuse for a sense humour.
What a pile of shit.

Jim Carrey is pretty funny to me. He has some pretty good ones (the first Mask was pretty kool). He has some bad ones though, like Horton Hears a Who and The Grinch.
