the first two linkin park albums were by far two of the best albums ive ever heard but now with the new album its gone. y? i dont know. the old flow is gone. LP went too rock like and left the great LP style behind. i just really hope they go back to the way they used to be. too many bands make a few goods albums then fall apart. hopefully itll come together "In the End". i put my trust in u pushed as far as i can go. lol just wanted to put the good song lyrics in there. these kind of threads have been done a bunch of times already.

it all comes down to the same thing, linkin park like all bands change and have written an album that alot of their fans are having trouble accepting. wish all you want for them to write another hybrid theory (again), but change is good, you just dont like the change this time.

You're right. The first time I was very disappointed. After listening to it again...Love...xD I like it. Now it's one of my fav albums.

I think the first three cds (including Reanimation, which I'm listening to right now) are the best cds I've ever listened to. In my opinion that was the sound that nobody else had, was totally original, and still remains original to this day. The closest I've come to finding anybody replicating it was End of Silence by Red. I personally think that cd is more how MTM should have sounded like...probably an evolved sense of their original success and not a completely new sound.

they didnt lose anything... they just added another talent to their huge ass skills book... theyres really no point in saying that the album isn't good... cuz it is... they make music they like, if they made it based on other peeple's preferences, it would suck ass.

I must admit, when I first listened to MTM, I didn't like it either. I'm not quite sure what was irking me about it, but there was something there.

Regardless, I kept listening to it, and then it just clicked, and now it's my favourite LP album, so...I suppose it's just down to your musical tastes, though how you can like LP and not be into rock music is beyond me...

MTM has to grow on you.. you just have to get used to their new sound.. As they put it.. they could have made another Hybrid Theory.. but I don't think the fans would have liked that.. I think it's a very good thing they are experimenting with other sounds.. They have grown so much..:D
