Ok, since most of members say: "Ohh i hate mtm(like me)" or "I like mtm" or "hmmm...they can do better.." or saying they only like some songs and hate others, heres my review of all songs. so You can give your to but you must do exactly what i did to all songs. :)
------------------------------
(by album order)
(also first time i heard it in order back at May 2007)
(ratings go from 1(baddest) to 5(perfect)
Wake
Ok, this intro isn't bad at all, but its not perfect. Its goes good in the beginning but them the rock part goes a little...away.
Rate: 3
Given Up
This song for me, one of the best in the album and it catches old LP energy. The screaming is just amazing and so is Chester in this song. It makes me wanna jump.
Rate: 5
Leave Out All the Rest
This soft rock song, is actually good, unlike some say its a crappy ballad. I think LOATR is a great song, and it calms you down.
Rate: 4
Bleed It Out
Finally, a rap song with Shinoda on MTM! When i got the album, i thought that were many other rap songs after this one...my mistake. But back to BIO, it catches again old LP and the guitar is perfect. Makes me move my head.
Rate: 5
Shadow of the Day
Some LP don't like this song, because it doesn't represent old LP at all, and it sounds like With or Without You by U2. Well, i actually like SOTD a lot! Its sure one of the few LP new music style tracks that work.
Rate: 4
What Ive Done
The best, and the best. What Ive Done is the best song in the album. For me, and most people. It has a really good sound even if Shinoda doesn't rap in this song. What Ive done capture some elements of old LP, like when Mr.Han scratches. What Ive Done was a major hit all around the world and we know why: its the best!
Rate: 5
Hands Held High
Ok, i don't like this song at all, and some fans wanted has i single? I dont know why. Messages, messages and more messages in this song. Well Mike raps, kinda off, but this "church song" really doesn't fit on LP.
Rate: 2
No More Sorrow
NMS is a good rock song. I really like the intro and how its get heavy all along. While its not perfect, i would like to see it has a single.
Rate: 4
Valentine's Day
2 words to this song: pure shit! Pure emo, pure crap. In my opinion, this is the worst LP song ever. I mean common! On a Valentine's Day...pfff
Rate: 1
In Between
Where is another song by Mike Shinoda. It has no rock or what so ever. Its soft music. I didn't like it in the beginning, but it seems its not that bad, but still, its strange.
Rate: 3
In Pieces
In Pieces...another emo song. The only thing you can say its good about this, its the solo, Rest is crap.
Rate: 2
The Little Things Give You Away
This is a loooooooong LP track. Again, it lacks many things. Talks about a disaster(katrina and again a message...) I dont like it.
Rate: 2

being 1=bad and 5=good:
Wake - 2.5
It's ok, could be better though. It's a bad way to open the album because it says nothing.
Given Up - 3.5
Catchy. I love the drums in there, love chesters vocals. Stupid lyrics though.
Leave Out All The Rest - 2
Can't stand it... it starts good, then the chorus comes and i just feel the need to skip the song
Bleed It Out - 3
Ok song. It was nice at first, but it's so repetitive that after a while it gets boring.
Mike's worst rapping ever.
Shadow of the Day - 2.5
Ok song... not much to say about it.
What I've Done - 3
Ok song, i like the lyrics.
Hands Held High - 4.5
One of my favourite songs in the album, love the amen amen part because that's the "newst" thing to the LP style that's shown in the album so far. Also, it has the best verses LP has ever written.
No More Sorrow - 2
Can't stand it either. It feels like a song done just for old LP lovers to enjoy. 0 content and it doesn't even sound good... i don't enjoy chester's singing in there.
Valentines Day- 2
Boring... It's like a bad copy of My December with a poppier vibe to it.
In Between - 3.5
I really enjoy that song, makes me feel something that no other LP song does.
For some reason (that i still ignore) i like it.
In Pieces - 5
Best song in the album, i love the way it starts slow and builds up to Brad's solo. The reggae riff in there was the big surprise in the whole album, and the solo is catchy. Its a song that seems they really put their effort into and made it sound complete.
The Little Things Give You Away - 3.5
I like it, love chesters vocals, not much to say about it

Wake
Alright opener. Although, Given Up would have been better opening the album on its own without this preceding it. Nice build up, sorta boring.-->2.5
Given Up
Awesome. Huge amount of energy. Chester's vocals at their best, for sure. Lovin the scream, the riffs, the bridge, keys jingling, everything. The lyrics actually don't bother me. Would you really want complex lyrics in a song this angry and angst filled?-->5
Leave Out All The Rest
A ballad. And one that I actually like. Maybe it's cause it hits close to home for me, but this song is very catchy and has a good meaning to it that stirs something in me. Maybe if you've ever lost a loved one, then you'd appreciate it more. Great song. Single material.-->5
Bleed It Out
Fast paced, rapping included. Very fun to listen to. Just wish it was longer.-->4
Shadow of the Day
Alright. Sort of unoriginal and boring, but has a good vibe. Maybe it's saving grace is, like I said with LOATR, I can relate to it.-->3
What I've Done
No wonder they chose it as the lead single. It IS the best song on the album. One of the most original songs they've done. Insanely catchy, love the lyrics and the message it gives. Gotta love the Halloween intro (like I said, very original, lol). Very moving song, and Chester's vocals on this track are awesome. I don't see how you can't like this song...the loud-soft dynamic, the attention-grabbing guilt-filled lyrics...damn.-->5
Hands Held High
We get the whole political thing, guys. It's not working. That aside, very boring song. I really just can't listen to it. I understand Mike put his heart into the song, and I respect that...I'm just not feeling the song or the "amens".--2
No More Sorrow
Great song. It's heavy, and I love that they used ebo on this. Turned out great. Cool how it bulds up for like a minute before you even hear Chester's voice. This song is amazing live. My only complaint is that it starts to get really boring really fast. Given Up all the way.-->3.5
Valentine's Day
Um...emo. Not that it sounds bad, it sounds decent...till he screams on a "Valentines Day!!!" Should have been a b-side. Let's see those other songs you left out. Probably better than this. I know No Roads Left was.-->2.5
In Between
Can give them an A for effort..?...ugh..-->1.5
In Pieces
Very Breaking the Habit-esque. It's different. I like the reggae vibe, and the solo, by LP's standards (what standards?) is pretty good. Great vocals.-->5
The Little Things Give You Away
Very good. I hated it at first, but now I love it. I think this is pretty much LP's first acoustic song, isn't it? I LOVE the lyrics, as well as how haunting the song is. I can actually picture a sick music vid being made for this. I usually can't stand songs longer than 4 minutes, but this is a pretty solid track. Well-put-together vocals and a nice breakdown at the end. Love it.-->5

I wrote a massive review of each track when it came out, but it's pretty long and pretty massive so I'll keep it short and sweet.
Wake. - 3.5
I like it. A good intro.
Given Up. - 4
I love the bass line and chorus.
Leave Out All The Rest. - 3
Nice easy listening song.
Bleed It Out. - 4
It's fun and catchy. But the chorus can get annoying.
Shadow Of The Day. - 1
Ugh...not my cup of tea at all. These lyrics were a huge let down to me, and the music is really quite dull.
What I've Done. - 4
I love the lyrics and the guitars before the third verse.
Hands Held High. - 3.5
Took me a while to warm up to this one, but really like it now.
No More Sorrow. - 4
I love the introduction, and the drums.
Valentine's Day. - 3.5
I hated this song at first, but it grew on me. The story behind the lyrics hold a lot of meaning.
In Between. - 3
I quite like this one, but the lyrics don't grab me.
In Pieces. - 5
Not only the best song on the album, but in my opinion, one of the best they've ever made. The build-up is great, and the reggie vibe suits perfectly. Brad's solo is amazing.
The Little Things Give You Away. - 4
Great song. I really like the acoustic intro.

An ok intro, honestly, the only bad thing about this I think is that it's too short.
Rate: 6
Given Up
This IS the best song on the album. A great heavy song, great instrumental sounding, great screaming, and overall great work by LP.
Rate: 10
Leave Out All the Rest
Although I loved this song at first, I've grown out of it. It's a great song, but just not LP sounding.
Rate: 7
Bleed It Out
Really now, MtM needed some rap, and it's great that an energetic song like BIO features Mike's rapping.
Rate: 10
Shadow of the Day
Ugh. That's it. WAY to slow. That is all...
Rate: 1
What Ive Done
Not much to say, but a great song. The basic summary of the feeling of the CD.
Rate: 10
Hands Held High
I actually think this is pretty good. I respect that a band, as big as LP can step up and do someting political.
Rate: 8
No More Sorrow
A great "hard" song. Definately one of the 2 harder songs the CD needed.
Rate: 9
Valentine's Day
A lot of people dislike this song, but I like it. I think, although it is "emo" that it is still well made.
Rate: 8
In Between
Definately unexpected. And a very love it or hate it song. I love it, it's definately well made.
Rate 8
In Pieces
A good song, but it feels a bit incomplete in a way.
Rate: 7
The Little Things Give You Away
Good track, but it kinda dreads on a bit to long.
Rate: 7
1. Wake - 4/5
2. Given Up 4.5/5
3. Leave Out All The Rest 5/5
4. Bleed It Out 5/5
5. Shadow of the Day 5/5
6. What Ive Done 5/5
7. Hands Held High 5/5
8. No More Sorrow 4/5
9. Valentines Day 5/5 (This song is not f'n emo. And if it is, fuck it, I love this one.)
10. In Between 2/5
11. In Pieces 4.5/5
12. The Little Things Give You Away 2.5/5
Majority of the song I enjoy them a lot. Only Little Things and In Between are the songs that I don't have the same opinion on. So Little: 4/5 and In Between: 3.5/5
Wake: I don't rate instrumentals
Given Up: In-Your-face song and definitely lyrics of feeling hopeless=Wow! I like this song and the scream is the best part and it shows more of Chester's growl/scream ability.
Leave Out All The Rest: Beautiful song and it's easily one of the best songs on the album. Great singing by Chester and this is a flawless track.
Bleed It Out: Mike's rapping about politics on this one but giving it more of an energetic vibe to it. The drums are the best thing on this song(Your head will nod!) and guitar is catchy too and it doesn't have to be too loud. This is the anthem of jumping.
Shadow of the Day: U2 influenced and a Darker song compared to Leave Out All The Rest. The production were great by Joe and it's like your typical Linkin Park song. It's simply an excellent song. Although, I don't know whats the topic of the song about.
What I've Done: The guitars are awesome and very different. Also a great single from LP and this is why LP is a good band.
Hands Held High: Beautiful song but my god the singing took me forever to get used to it. Now I am and I will admit this is maybe Mike's best performance when it comes to rapping.
No More Sorrow: The best song in the album. Riffs are EXTREMELY catchy and same with the chorus. Lyrics is politics like Hands Held High and Bleed It Out.
Valentine's Day: Ok, this is the most controversial song on the album. it's not boring, it's actually a sad song and it's about Chester's wife and Chester's singing with Brad's guitar mixes VERY well. That's the reason why I love this song Chester is sound amazing singing through the verses/chorus.
In Between: A little boring, and it took me forever to get used to Mike's singing vocals. The instrumental is mediocre at best but those xylophone were mixing great with Mike's voice like Chester and Brad from V.Day. That's the only reason why I enjoy it soo much and the bridge was awesome too. Mends very well with the singing.
In Pieces: Now it's Chester's turn. This song is maybe one of the best on the album and very catchy guitar solo. Also after the guitar solo there's gonna be the guitar, drums, synth and bass to the chorus and it sounds beautiful
Little Things Give You Away: This song flabbergasted me. It's an astonishing song but singing little things give you away from like I think from 4:58-6:23 was just a waste of more ideas to make the song better like more bridges. However, I enjoy it because the guitar solo is beautiful and production which LP is very expert at.
I enjoy the album a lot. Just keep listening to it more and you'll like it more like me. If it's not working, listen to it CAREFULLY.
Valentines Day- 2
Boring... It's like a bad copy of My December with a poppier vibe to it.
Valentine's Day is very different to My December. I think it's better to compare it with Let Down because their the same topics;it's about problems with Chester's wife.

What's wrong with Valentine's Day?
It's a good song!
But when the song starts, Chester's voice is kinda weird.
The rest is fine.
He sings it in a depressed voice. He sounds weird I will admit.

Wake- 4
I think its a nice way to start from no sound to the new LP.
Given Up- 3.5
I really like it.. but i feel the song is missing something.
Leave Out All The Rest- 5
Its a good song.. Nice lyrics.. nice rythm.. i like everything about this song.
Bleed It Out- 4
Very nice song.. It gets you hyper :D.. the only problem is that its too short and bleed it out its repeated soooo damn much.
Shadow Of the Day- 3
The lyrics are good, but miss something. The song could have been much better. I still like it.
What I've Done- 5
Nice Guitar, Nice Drums, Nice Vocals, Everything, if the whole album would have been like WID there wouldnt been people complaining.
Hands Held High- 2
Doesn't sound like LP, this is more like FM.. I like it, but it doesn't represent how LP is.Its lyrics are powerful.
No More Sorrow- 5
Drums are awesome, the ebow thingy was a good idea, and Chester screaming was the best, also, Mike's backing vocals are the best.
Valentine's Day- 2
Nice song, but is like an empty song, it doesn't fit.
In Between- 2
Mike singing that way isn't the best he can do. He's not a bad singer. I dont like the background atmosphere of this song.
In Pieces- 4
Vocals, cool, instruments, cool, Brad's solo, DAMN COOL.
The Little Things Give You Away- 5
I like how they used many instruments to make up this song. Chester sings incredible, and Brad solo was good too. The lyrics are one of the best lyrics i've heard.

Valentine's Day is very different to My December. I think it's better to compare it with Let Down because their the same topics;it's about problems with Chester's wife.
yeah well, i re-listened the song and yeah, it has nothing to do with My December or whatever.
You know?, i love this song... until the chorus starts and then it's just annoying. Same happens to me with LOATR. They ruined the songs with the choruses.
In Valentine's Day... i like how Chester starts singing, with that "weird" voice... kind of similar to TLTGYA, kind of a shy/weak tone to it... i love it.
But probably the best thing on that song is the part between:
"...as they put you down inside but the heartless wind kept blowing, blowing" and "So now you're gone, And I was wrong..."
The transition from one verse to another one, with that weird effect i dont know, i just love it.
The lyrics, remind me of a weird(bad) AFI lyric.

I first heard this song on ZM in the morning while in bed and I was shaking afterwards! Great rock song that completly enhances their new style, look and everything in between =]

GREAT! this was the first song that I took really deeply, especially with the lyrics. The line: 'When The Rich Wage War, It's The Poor Who Die' sealed it for me! Great song.

Great song, but not quite perfect. It just has something missing about it, but still very good.

GREAT! my second first favourite [if u know what i mean]. The style of it is great and the solo is the icing on the top!

The Little Things Give You Away
Brilliant! this is the MUSIC side of LP. the way it is structured, the way the instruments work together, the gradual build up of everything and even the string ensomble was good! Myself as a muscian can point out all the greatness in this song! just spectacular!

Hmm, I am guilty of skipping this. It's vocals that really draw me into a song, so I guess that's why I've never been that interested in it.
Given Up
Three words - Seventeen second scream.
Leave Out All the Rest
When I first heard it, I wasn't that impressed. But then I went through a stage when it was all I could listen to. Since then, as I listened to it so much I haven't been recently, but I still like it alot. I just wore it out I guess.
Bleed It Out
Not sure. There's something about it I really like, and something I don't. But I don't actually know what about each.
Shadow of the Day
As a single, I don't like it much. As a song, I do. It is well written and very emotional, but a bit poppish.
What Ive Done
I don't like it much at all. It just irritates me =/
Hands Held High
Sometimes I feel it should be under Fort Minor, but I really like it despite the lack on guitars and what not. Partially cos I'm a Mike fangirl :P But no, being serious, I really can't wait to see this live, there's alot to it.
No More Sorrow
It's kinda heavy, which is always good. Like BIO, there's something I like and don't like about it. But as one of the few songs with screaming, I at least like the bridge :p
Valentine's Day
It's like what I said for Shadow of the Day. But I don't like the "On a Valentine's Daaaaaaay" repeated over and over.
In Between
Mike's voice...:D
In Pieces
Heavn't listened to it in a while, but I've always liked it. There's nothing specific I like, but I do =]
The Little Things Give You Away
Love it. At first I felt it was just too long to get into, and even if it was the end where Chester, Mike and Dave harmonise together is enough to make you listen until the end. Shame about the guitar solo, but that's just because I don't much like any guitar solos, so same goes to all the others with one in. It is also the best song to prove that Chester can sing not only agressive songs.

Wake (4/5) - A great intro, for me...It's short, but i don't care...
Given Up (4/5) - A great song with a great instrumental. But i don't like the lyrics too much...
Leave Out All The Rest (5/5) - One of the best songs of this album. This ballad is amazing and it captures the emotion on a LP song. The lyrics are great too.
Bleed It Out (4/5) - Good song, but i think it could be better. It's an reminiscence to their anthems like Faint.
Shadow of the Day (5/5) - It's great that LP took some influences by U2. For me, this song is one of the best tributes to the irish band.
What I've Done (5/5) - Great first single. And the video is almost perfect as the song.
Hands Held High (4/5) - The lyrics are awesome and the chorus is definitely an surprise by LP.
No More Sorrow (5/5) - The best heavy song in this album, IMO.
Valentine's Day (4/5) - Overall it's a good song, but i only think the chorus should be better...
In Between (3,5/5) - My least favorite. It's not bad at all, but it could be better. Mike's voice is not so good as in No Roads Left.
In Pieces (5/5) - Great song. The solo is the highlight of this song. Absolutely fantastic and unexpected.
The Little Things Give You Away (5/5) - I would say this is the most realistic LP song. The lyrics and the instrumental are great and fits perfectly with the message of the song. And the guitar solo is another amazing highlight.

Wake-Nice for an Intro but it's instrumental- 3/5
Given Up-One of the heaviest songs on the album. The scream was excellent but the lyrics seems to be like a suicide attempt. But the f-word was placed well.- 4/5
Leave Out All The Rest-A sad ballad that I actually liked. The girls I know love this song for Chester's voice. Sounds to have a hip hop influence in it and deals with death and remembering the loved ones.- 5/5
Bleed It Out-A great party song. One of my favorites. Mike delivers a great rap verse and it's just a metaphor. Better than rapping about money, cars, hoes, and shit like that. Funny cuz he says 100th time because he the lyrics for 100 times.- 5/5
Shadow Of The Day-U2 style song. It grew on me. I liked U2 for my dad is a fan but I didn't feel for LP to be a pop-rock band. Now it turns out to be a great song.- 4/5
What I've Done-The lead single. Kinda overplayed it but I still like it. The video here was simply their best because it dealt with real stuff and should had been a Grammy nominee if those fuckers knew real music.- 4/5
Hands Held High-As a Catholic (sounds like a church song) and a hip hop fan, it's my favorite. Mike's verses are powerful and I hope it becomes a single. The F-word was placed well especially the "Fuck That" part. The Amen part was creative.- 5/5
No More Sorrow-Damn, this song sounds awesome. The guitar was excellent and the drumming was like a war song. Love the aggression here and Chester did a great job.- 5/5
Valentine's Day-The only down song. Chester seems a little off in this song. Too poppy and too sad. -3/5
In Between-A good song and great singing by Mike but lacks the a lot of depth. They could had made this song a little better. -3/5
In Pieces-I like the ska-influence here and Mr.Hahn did a great job with the DJ. Brad's solo was awesome and this song feels like a beach song. -4/5
Little Things-A 6 minute long song that has meaningful lyrics but doesn't get to the hype until Rob does his drum solo. It turns out to be a great song but not my favorite. -4/5
Overall Album -5/5.
It ranks 3rd best release out this year. Only Kanye West's Graduation and Common's Finding Forever ranks higher. Great Job.

Out of 10
Wake: 6
It's alright, nothing special though.
Given Up: 7
This song is cool, not really fond of the sadistic lyrics. Seems to be one of the most popular songs however. Great rocking and LP style scream.
Leave Out All The Rest: 8
This was my favourite when I first got the album, it's not my favourite anymore, maybe I over listened. I like the ballad (I think that's what it is) sound at the start and the chorus is good. The verses are great too. I love the lyrics.
Bleed It Out: 9
This one wasn't that special to me at the start, but I've come to terms how great this song is. Mike's rapping and of course Chester's chorus of "I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away". I also love how fast it is and it's probably the only party song from this band.
Shadow Of The Day: 7
Nice lyrics and it's something different for Linkin Park. The length is almost perfect and it's nice to have a break from Chester's screaming and have it sing nicely. Even the little 49 second instrumental at the end is cool. I don't really like it as a single though. The video doesn't seem to match the softness of the song.
What I've Done: 7
It's overplayed and overrated, but I guess it's alright. I like how Chester screams "DOOOOOOOOONE" for a long time near the end and Mike's "na" as well. I like the sound of the song as well. Overall it's my least listened to song on the album.
Hands Held High: 10
One of my favourite songs on the album. It's outstanding. I love the Church atmosphere the music gives off and the protest atmosphere the lyrics give off. The "Amen" is amazing and I like the repeated final verse. The message in the lyrics is powerful and it very touching to me, even though I'm not American and never had anything to do with Mr. Bush.
No More Sorrow: 9
Wow, this song reaks awesomeness. The one minute instrumental is better then any Linkin Park instrumental ever and it's way better then Wake. The rest of the song is awesome LP esque screaming lyrics. The entire song just screams RAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWK!!!!!
Valentine's Day: 8
I love the emotion in this song. The beginning where Chester sings sadly is magical. The lyrics are metaphorically amazing. The "VALENTINE'S DAY" scream in the end shows the anger in the song as well. The song pictures a funeral scene and this entire song displays the sadness and anger of such an occasion.
In Between: 10
This is my favourite song on the album. It's probably the most unpopular song on the album but I love it. The lyrics are great, they are kind of like the Hybrid Theory songs in that the true meaning is rather vague. I can kind of see that the song's about struggling to apologise. I love how it starts simple and then it adds more layers of music and then Chester singing in the background. This is the first time Mike has sung (not rapped) for a full length track and he should do it more often because it sounds amazing. He has a nice singing voice. Favourtie song on the album full stop. Listen to it if you haven't. Though I guess it's a love or hate song.
In Pieces: 7
I like the energy Chester has in this song. I love that guitar solo as well. The lyrics are kind of like In Between as the meaning is quite vague. Not much to say here, the song is alright.
The Little Things Give You Away: 9
This song is mad as. The first time I heard it, I was like "WHEN IS THIS GOING TO END" but now when I listen I wish it'd never end. It's so epic and the message is so powerful. I also love how the lyrics are repeated but in a different way each time. The first of four bits of the song is a soft singing sensation and then it gets louder and more meaningful. Then we get the guitar and drum section which sounds perfect for this song. Finally they finish off with a three way harmony with Chester, Pheonix and Mike and at the very end there's no music only the three vocalist. Lovely song.
No Roads Left: 10
So it's a bonus song but it's still part of M2M. Yes it's one of my favourite songs again. This is officially the only track where Mike sings ALL by himself and NO backup vocals. He seems to use a lot of energy. I love that rock riff used throughout, it sounds like a car theme song. "No Roads Left" title and message goes perfectly with the electric guitar riff. Mike should sing like this more often; the next album should be full of it. This album doesn't deserve to be a bonus track and it's truly magical. Download it now.
Album Overall: 9/10
This is actually my favourite LP album and probably favourite album ever.

Given Up. I didn't really like it until i heard it live then i started to appreciate it more 3/5
Leave Out All The Rest. I couldn't stop saying "I love this song!" when i first heard it. i really like the beat and the hip-hop styled drums 5/5
Bleed It Out. It's okay... just a little to over-rated in my opinion 3/5
Shadow of The Day. Awesome. i love how the songs keeps building up... first the simple beat, then the strings and you think its over after the guitar solo... but BAM! it gets even higher 5/5
What I've Done. I like the beat and vocals by Chester on this one. It's a nice mix of their old and new stuff. 4/5
Hands Held High. Lyrically my favorite song on the album. I like beat and the ending too 5/5
No More Sorrow. Its pretty cool... i just hate the bridge 4/5
Valentine's Day. Unique because of its piano solo and i really love how Chester's voice sounds throughout the whole song 5/5
In Between. Everyone thinks it's supposed to be a huge song because it's by LP, but it's not. All it is a simple song which is why it's my favorite one on the album. The chords on it make it so easy to listen to. 5/5
In Pieces. It gets you to think it's building up to something huge... and when it does... it's over. 4/5
The Little Things Give You Away. Pretty good, just kinda long. In order for you to really appreciate it, you have to listen to it from the very beginning. 4/5
No Roads Left. It's pretty cool, but everyone compares it to In Between just because Mike sings it... they're so different it's not even funny. 4/5
What I've Done (Distorted Remix). I like it. It's kind of fun to listen to. I really enjoy it 4/5

1-10 (10 being the best)
Wake
Rate: 7
Yeah, I would say the same..x)

Minutes to Midnight
01. Wake (4.5; It's got an epic feel to it, "Given Up" slides in smoothly after it, and it's a lot better than "Foreword" from Meteora. Sounds really good live)
02. Given Up (4; I'm sorta biased towards this song probably because it's one of the harder ones and the riff/ringing of keys are nice but Chester spitting vulgarities singing about giving up on life, ironically, is a little immature)
03. Leave Out All the Rest (2.5; When i saw Mike on the Making of MTM fiddling with this song on his computer, i was really interested to find out more about it but as you keep listening to it gradually, the chorus gets whiny and i don't particularly enjoy it when Chester's voice gets really whiny)
04. Bleed It Out (3.5; This one's different but then again, it gets stale after a few listens. The lyrics and guitar riff are good although Chester's parts seem a bit insignificant to me somehow)
05. Shadow of the Day (3.5; The first time you listen to it, you'll like it almost instantly because it's so different from what you'd expect LP to do until MTV starts playing it on heavy rotation and makes you sick of it. Chester's voice isn't whiny, it's clear, and the riffs balance out the song in a way)
06. What I've Done (4; Another sorta epic-ish sounding song, shares some sort of similarity to "Wake" and awesome lyrics in there)
07. Hands Held High (2.5; I personally don't enjoy hip-hop/rapping a lot so this one with rapping all the way doesn't intrigue me. However, i think the lyrics "With hands held high into a sky so blue,
as the ocean opens up to swallow you" are one of the best lines in MTM)
08. No More Sorrow (5; My favourite song off MTM. It's aggressive, can't get enough of Brad's riff and it's a great step toward deviating away from the old nu-metal style while still maintaining their rock credibility)
09. Valentine's Day (4; I'm just going to go ahead and say i like this song. I genuinely like it. Although it might not be LP-esqued and very radio-friendly at that even. Chester's voice is gentle but not whiny, and it's definitely better than "LOATR")
10. In Between (2; A subtle way to put it would be to say it's my least favourite song off the album. Mike's vocals on this just don't work for me)
11. In Pieces (5; I love this song. I love how it starts out "vunerably" and ends "heavy" with Brad's simple but kickass guitar solo. Rob's catchy and ska-inspired- if you could call it, drumming is cool as well. Also another great step toward deviating away from their past musical style)
12. The Little Things Give You Away (4.5; Another great one, don'tcha guys think? Intelligent lyrics especially "All you ever wanted was someone to truly look up to you, and six feet under water, i do", the simple, great solo by Brad once again flows effortlessly with Mike and Chester's vocals towards the end)
13. No Roads Left (4.5; Mike's vocals are a lot more melodic here compared to "In Between" and the strings and guitars fit well together. This song proves Mike can do more than just rap)
Not necessarily the best album by Linkin Park but it's a risky challenge they have taken up so i think they deserve respect for that.
