I'm sure you get a lot of messages daily on all of the message boards you guys have so if you actually take time out to read this then you have more freetime than I imagined lol! Anyway.. I just joined the LP Underground and I was just wanting to know what happens to all the songs you guys record that never actually get produced and put on the albums, and how much say so do you guys actually get in what songs make it to the album? I was reading some of the stuff written on your guys new Minutes To Midnight album and you mentioned how you guys recorded several songs until you got something that sounded good. Basically all I'm saying is that it'd be cool if you guys would come out with an album of just deleted tracks.. you know like the ones that never made it, or that the record labels didn't think would benefit the band, and I'm sure you guys get a lot of let downs on songs you feel are really good sounding but then crushed when ol' Ricky takes a look at em'. Just thought it'd be a cool idea for you guys to think about cause I've always been real interested in hearing some of those songs myself.. Another idea, because I seem to be full of them today.. If you guys were able to produce a deleted tracks album you could pitch it as a charitable album, and not really care so much as far as record sales go.. Because aside from production costs you wouldn't have to spend a great deal of time in the studio for something like that, or at least I wouldn't think so.. Well thanks for reading all this and if you aren't too busy just shoot me a message back with your thoughts about all this. I understand it might be a while though because of your busy tour schedule..
Thanks!
