okay now, the title pretty much speaks itself. but heres what i see.

Bleed It Out- they could have done soooo much more with that song. like a or a bank robbery or something, who directed that anyway? bcuz it couldn't have been joe hahn, he is much more creative than that. i have to say that bio (bleed it out) has been the worst video that they've done. but you can say ur opinion, i would like to hear them.

Shadow Of The Day- reminds me a lot of From The Inside, it bears a striking resemblence. for all of you that havn't seen from the inside you should watch shadow of the day and then from the inside. there is a very good similarity between the two. i do like shadow of the day very much. (probably bcuz chester has his shirt off in it... lol! ya hearin me ladies?) once again feel free to voice ur opinion.:D

and if you could plz tell me who directed bleed it out. i was disapointed and i really hope it wasn't joe hahn. hes soooo much better than that. o yah and one more thing just out of the blue. does anyone know that notes on the piano to the beggining to what i've done. thnx.

I think the video idea is like put us in the story.. it´s for us to "live" the video, incarning the char.
And Chester does an amazing performance... The war is all around him, and nothing changes about his daily rotine... That´s the mensage, I guess...:p

lol, im so used to being on a site with parents of (almost) all ages, i dont even think about ppls age anymore, becuase A) you are as old/young as you feel and B) i care about what is spoken (typed) not about the age of the speaker.
the site i usually hang out on has alot of "older" ppl on it (ranging from 20-55) and im one of the youngest there, so i know about "not being heard" thankfully im smart (*snickers*) so people value my opinion and when i get annoying with my ramblings (lets say, for example, talking about LP for days on end even tho NOBODY cares...lol) they tend to just ignore it and wait till i "get better' LOL
so anyway. who cares how old you are. its usually the young ones that are more open to some things.

You guys are right. Age doesn´t matter at all. It´s like.. be yourself and you will be accepted ^^ There´s no reason for ppl to ignore younger members ideas, even being young doesn't means that they don´t know what are talking about, that never happened with me, we must respect youngers and olders :)

1st thought
He´s about to leave to war.
He does his morning routine looking like he´s leaving that place (that´s also what the lyric says). In other side he does all that stuff so naturally, it almost looks like he was expecting for it, like if it was just another day of war. But it also can means that he was ready to leave home (for the first time and forever) and face another life.
He opens the TV and in every channels the news are about the war that is going on , the World "fell in shadow's arms and now it is turning grey" .
The "sun has set" not only for many ppl (or the whole world) but also for him because he´s peace has done and he is going to fight hardly the World problems. Hopes are almost done, fight is the only way to take the "shadow and grey" down. It´s not good life...
In the final part, he gets outside home and he is walking on the street with all the scenery of war surrounding him, maybe he´s going to be a part of that reality.
This version coincides with the lyric.

2nd thought
He´s not a warrior, he is just a normal citizen wich country is throwing a war. The video shows his daily routine, what he pass through everyday, the cruel things he has to face.
He wakes and does every stuff like always. He's just getting ready for another grey day, just like the others before (maybe a school/work day).
He opens the TV and the channels always shows the same: war, the shadow around the world.
He leaves home and go walking on the street. Nothing is changed. He´s tired of that War, explosions everywhere, ppl screaming and running around, soldiers shooting and citizens throwing stones. He wishes for it's end. He can´t see ppl suffering like that, him self is having a hard time.

Well I willn´t explain step by step ALL my thoughts... that´s just 2 boring :eek:

He also can be leaving his country, letting everything behind.
Maybe he is going to commit suicide ( O.o kidding )
Or maybe it is a message for ppl to don´t turn their backs to the problems wich some countries are throwing for.
........ ETC...... ETC....... :D

But one thing is for sure:
It isn´t all about "chesters tattoos and blowing stuff up"

It is up to you to interpret the video, by your own way. :cool:

(About SOTD) Joe: Originally this video was suppost to be a romantic story with a women in the apartment but on the shoot day she never showed up, so we had to improvise creating a new story, this is kinda what we came up with". Nice hun? I would never think that video was just an improvisation xD
