My thoughts to the meaning of this song is that he's told a lie and cant control himself to tell the truth
and that he/she doesnt know how to overcome it
then at the same time that other person knows the he/she lied.
its that akward feeling!!!!:D  :)

I think Crawling deals more with an abusive past, and the internal struggle to overcome that abuse. That's what the video portrays at least.
In all actuallity, it could be something else. Anything that you feel is "under your skin". That's the beauty behind their music!

And Part of Me, from the EP, is an amazing song (except for the 6 minutes of static!! Dammit!!!)!! To me, it deals with getting rid of a part of you that you despise. Think of it somewhat as Breaking the Habit. There is a part of you that you hate, and you want to "cut" it out of your life.
Whether or not "cut[ting] myself free" deals with actually cutting yourself is up for debate...

crawling... i thought they were talking about the effects of heroine, relating with Chester's drug abuse in the past. And that interpretation makes a lot of sense when reading/listening to the chorus.

I always heard that it was about his abusive past, but it could be drug-related. As I said, the beauty of their music is that it is up for interpretation!

the Crawling video has made me cry in the past, so has listening to the live version of Breaking The Habit. I actually cried when I heard it live both times :(
