i'd like to be a turtle. requiring almost nothing, and can get so old without much pain (i believe). god.. the things a turtle has to experience in a lifetime has to be fascinating.. how many times you can be endangered and everything.. so nice.

reminds me of a day when a world war two(/1?) veteran came to talk about his war experiences. and he was in the warsaw uprising. the stories were like.. some violent fable. it was fascinating. there was one thing he said that i'll never forget... he said :"you are children of peace, enjoy every moment of it". :') this sentence, those words really made me think about my life. i don't want to throw it away like i do. i should enjoy every single moment of my life, because there are people less fortunate than me.. this was an immense moral to me ;( alright so i bet a turtle feels that way too
