View Full Version : The video for Bleed It Out sucks. And what the heck is happening with Chesters...
...clothing? Seriously he looks AWFUL. Someone needs to correct that wardrobe malfunction big time. Like his clothes in the WID video were not bad enough but this is much worse.
This is by far the worst video LP has ever done. I actually got BORED watching it. The song itself is fantastic but the video is so bad it affects the song. I have always loved LP's videos cos they stand out from the crowd - usually being really interesting to watch.
I am highly disappointed cos I saw it this morning and then the new Korn video came on right after and lets face it - in comparison that video is much better than LP's. Which is sad. Really sad. Not that korn are bad or anything. I just expected something with more heart/ effort from LP.

Ive seen it about 6 times after that today. I tried to let it grow on me. It didnt happen. I just got more and more annoyed watching it. It think its something to do with Chesters hideous shirt.
I like it ok, but the fighting looks weird in reverse, and it goes by too slowly, so it's almost like watching some kind of fruity ballet.
Did like Chester's clothes tho, thought they were funny.:D

the video really lacks the song's original power. it's far too slow and therefore inappropriate. also kind boring to see pretty much the same scene throughout the whole song, no visual changes or something - it's just them doing nothing bot singing (rather poor performance)and the crowd bending their bodies etc.

Well, think of it. Sure it's a fast song, but can you think of a more new and unthinkable scenerio to put the song in like this?

I was slightly disappointed with it, but then again, when I watched it for the first time my dad was commenting on how unnatural Chaz's screaming is (DIE DAD DIE! :mad:)
But, I have only seen it properly once, and a barfight (or whatever you call them!) was the perfect scene for the song, I'll just have to wait to let it grow on me. :)
As well as that, WID mesmerized me the first time I saw it, and still mesmerizes me today! So in that case, I think it's a pretty hard video to top! :p

i agree with you but i won't say that its the worst vid' LP has ever done but its just nothing compared to their previous videos.
I like the idea of fighting ppl but it would have looked much better if it was a bit fast.

That said, i thought it was a good video. What the fuck did people expect with a jaunty little wildcat of a song? Some sort of sombre plot that somehow goes with it? Flying ninjas in a sewer (again)?
Heck, the background noises in the track - the bar and the general hustle and bustle - makes this video seem even more relevant than some of the absoloutly hilarious ideas i've heard on this board.
Actually, scrap that.

I used to love Linkin Park's videos. They were so powerful and theatrical.
What I've Done and Bleed It Out's videos are both really disappointing. The whole "things going in reverse" while a band plays and "band plays while pictures and videos of the bad things going on in the world" are both way overdone and LP could've done a lot better.

What I've Done was a great video. BIO was pretty weak, but it wasn't any worse than Faint. 3 minutes of the backs of their heads, THATS a low quality video.

i think its a good vid but the song wasnt long enough for a video to be made i think they should of chose a different sogn but i think the video was still good not the best but it was still good :D

Bleed it out is an awesome song YES!!The video is not really good.It bar fighting would be great if not in reverse,i mean to watch someone's angry fall back (if you know what i mean)that sucked.Chester looks hot in the video, but when he started the chorous it wasn't really appropriate for to watch,not that i don't mind watching it,I could so made it 50% even more awesome,but it's still a top video on vh1 so what the heck...Linkin Park rulz!!!

the above explanation could definitely be used in his choice of shirt....which, i may add, looks horrid on him. he just doesn't do v-neck shirts very good, they look, well, i can't think of an explanation of how they look on him, they just look bad.

The vid is okay.... I like the idea of the band moving forward and everyone else moving backwards... but like others said it doesn't suit the song... they are moving too slow... it's not in time with the music... overall... if I had to make a list of my top 10 favourate vids I don't think this one will make it...
I just think Chester needs to put a bit more meat on his bones... :D

the thing about the video that didnt feel right to me was Chester's awkward dance and fighting/spitting blood stuff all around
i dont have a problem about clothing and blah blah
its the way he wants to look
he freaking has his own clothes-line
