ohh. I really don't listen much finnish music.. but bands lkike Sonata Arctica, kotiteollisuus, Poets of the fal(hahaha), Velcra,ismo alanko, hassisen kone XD

shit like that, but I mostly listen something un finnish.
BTW, i'm really -figure.09- so we might seen here, before

I guess I'm a bit similiar, the majority of the bands that I listen to come from other places but I guess it's more of natural thing really.

My favorite bands are Ensiferum, Wintersun, Children Of Bodom, Kotiteollisuus, Diablo, Mokoma, Stam1na, Finntroll, Insomnium, Moonsorrow, Mors Principium Est, Wyrd, Apulanta, HIM (old).

Mostly metal and harder rock really, I find the majority of finnish music to be pretty pretty nauseating to be honest.

Time is the second full-length album by the Finnish viking metal band Wintersun. It was originally scheduled for release in November 2006, but has been delayed until August 2007 and then until 2008. Its recording commenced on May 2, 2006 at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki. The mixing of the album, previously scheduled for May 2007 in Sonic Pump Studios, has been delayed due to technical reasons, notably, gear breakdowns. Since the studio is fully booked for the rest of 2007, the album will not be released until 2008.

As of the commencement of recording, Jari Mäenpää has stated (through the official website) that the album length runs over 65 minutes, and it will be a concept album. Furthermore, according to Mäenpää, the album's sound will be highly intricate. Each song is said to contain up to 200 tracks. The album's complexity is one of the main reasons for its slow production process. As of April 2007, drums, bass and all the guitars have been recorded.

I knew directly when they scored the goal that Finland would lose, finnish teams mental capability is really weak. That's one of the number 1 things they should focus on in the future for finnish sports, more mental training.

You know, you're propably right at that. Usually when a goal like that happen, they're playing gets totally messed up, they played really well in spite of the goal though.

That's propably the reason why it's so difficult for them to make goals, especially if they´re in "takaa-ajoasema". The mental thingie

It's catchy alright but it's too..."tasapaksu". Hanna also has a pretty good voice and that song just doesnt' bring the best out of it. But we'll see, they predict Suomi might be in the top3.

There is a very impressive 40% chance that Finland can win the final but considering they usually loose I'm not putting my hopes up. My guess is that they will probably play their worst game of the tournament in the final.

I thought the ESC 2007 went really well. The intro was absolutely excellent and Apocalyptica's performance was great. Some of the postcards were lame but it was cool that Tuska was in one of them, the love subject was cute I guess. The presenters did a decent job, nothing really to complain about there.

On the actual competion it was pretty typical, all the countries basically voted for the neighbours which I guess normal considering people are only really interested in their neighbour countries anyway. Serbia was a well deserving winner, the majority of the songs were fairly bland.

A slightly disappointed placement for Hanna but the song was maybe not as good I thought it was.

Oh well hopefully Finland will continue to send rockbands in the future to the ESC.

I haven't read into them (I study religions at un (not theology)), but I think it was that satanists are into personal pleasure and enjoyment and they see that they have a right to have that. To be honest...I'm not really liking it at all but I've just listened through it once so it might that I'll grow into it when I give it some time. I don't know, something that made their music LP just doesn't seem to be there anymore. There's way too many calm songs on the album which is a huge disappointment. I felt so strange when I realised I didn't really like it, like I was supposed ot =S

Just bought MTM. Liking it ok so far...

Edit: I gotta say I like it. It's very different, which makes it a little weird, but certainly noy bad. It's strange to have so many slow songs on it. And the album as a whole is too short. I don't understand why they cut "100+ songs" down to 11. Also, they should've put Qwerty on it.

It's definitely growing on me, I had several songs of the albums stuck in my head the whole day yesterday. There's definitely a lot of nice, single things on the songs I think. I think it's just a little difficult to just like it right away because it's so different from their earlier work.

Shadow Of The Day is the worst song on the album. Also, song called "No Roads Left" should have been on the album instead of that or they just should've add that song to album. It's good song.

Still M2M is good album and I sure hope that LP will come to Finland someday.

True... but LP is still young and they are not going anywhere. Mind might maybe change later or not. I'm still their fan even they didn't come here when HT or Meteora was released. I now hope that LP will come to Finland this time. I just love their music and all the band members and im glad that the new album was again success even they maybe lost some fans, but still they did great job.

Anyway good that we all still like them even some of you aren't so fanatic fan anymore than used to be.

3rd of july. I've got a place to stay now (a hostel) and I'll buy the train tickets next week. Some people I really don't know at all will come to pick me from the train station and we'll take a buss to the venue. At first I was planning on spending the 2nd night at the train station but the timetables for trains have gone to summer time and the time I'd need to spend there stretched into 10-12 hours so I decided that's for the better; it isn't far away from the venue either and some other people from teh forum might be going there also. My parents weren't really into the idea either since the train station was recently named as the most dangerous place at night in Helsinki =P I'm nearly finished with the presents but I need to figure out how to take as little stuff with me as possibly so that i don't have to get stuck at the "narikka" and miss a good spot in front of the stage.

meh... Häkkinen needs to make a return really!. I even bet that Kovalainen will reach more success then Räikkönen in the future.

The ending was kinda surprise. Justin Timberlake was great and he played his role very well. I thought first that this is going to be bad movie but it turned to be actually good.

No Häkkinen in formula 1 anymore plz.:cool: He drive now DTM and he is getting good. I don't know about Kovalainen thing because last year Reanault was best and they should be also good this year but now suddently they can't even get to top 8. Is it driver fault or the team fault? dunno, but Kovalainen gonna need a lot luck if he wants to get some points this year and he must work hard or maybe Renault will fire him. :(

I reserved myself a bed from the "makuusali". It costs 17 euros, I don't think it's much and they serve breakfast there also which is awesome because I have to spend the rest of the day in the train with nothing to eat propably =P The time you need to be there on the day when your reservation starts is 6PM but I explained how I was coming to Helsinki because of a concert and couldn't leave my place in the queue and they said that as long as I come before 3AM, it's fine. (There's not entrance between the hours 3-7AM.) Someone from Turku will be going to the hostel also so we'll propably go together =) Two friends of my friends from here are also going to the MCR concert, I actually saw them at the movie threathre yesterday when I went to see Pirates3 + I was working. I don't really know them but they were waving at me and pointing at me because I was wearing my MCR hoodie =P I've been also thinking that maybe we could go together to Helsinki or something, I should propably ask my friend to ask them what they think =P

Just what I was about to say. I think the description promised a little too much, I expected it to be much better.

Hmmm, personally they don't really have any difference for me but I think I know what you mean. Finnish people just don't seem to be able to drink "kohtuudella" or at least most of them, It seems that everytime they drink, they need to get loaded.

Yes. They are very similar in the mood and I liked both alot. The book naturally has some events the movie doesn't, but generally I think the movie did live up to the book, imo.
