I can't even listen to MTM, there are 2 good songs and even those are not outstanding in any way. I'd rather listen to Live in Texas or Hybrid Theory anyday over the new stuff, why did they totally move away from the sound that made them what they are?(were now) This album is disappointing at best.

If you wanna listen to old LP, just listen to their old work and get used to MTM.

Give it a chance.
be honest. another album like ht or meteora wouldnt have been the right thing (although i like these albums). i think it is good that they changed cuz now it is possible to change from heavy lp sound to softer lp sound and it is still lp sound you can listen to. if there is no chance for you to get used to mtm you can still listen to the older songs of the xero or hybrid theory ep days or to fort minor or grey daze or soon to dead by sunrise.
Overall, they're both great, the old 1 had more angry songs and songs that you can jump and the new 1 has song that you relax, laid-back and just visualize the lyricism from the songs.

scromer17 if you have been to one of the new concerts (was to the copenhagen yesterday) then you will see how good the songs are live, it's the perfect combination of old and new.
LinkinPark also seems to have got some new energy, they was a pleasure to look at (and hear).

EDIT: Yea .. I agree with the post above. I was also at the concert in copenhagen, and no complaints here .. It was perfect ..

I think old is way better than new. But you should
give it a chance. I thought there was only 2 good
songs on there, but then I actually started to listening
to it. now I think it was a pretty good (and succesful)
album. GO AHHEAD. GIVE IT A TRY.

No More Sorrow and Given Up?...
You are one of those people who like heavy rocking songs and trash MTM for being too soft and slow. That is the worst argument to say an album is bad. If you liked really heavy stuff, you surely wouldnt even like Linkin Park because its not that heavy after all.
Measuring the quality of a song because of it's "heaviness" is not right. You don't need to scream to make a point, and fast and heavy riffs don't make a song good.
I can't actually say that new way is better than legendary HT but it's really nice. as 4 me it's like more romantic stuff

LP never really was heavy all the time
Thye are not locked up in just one music style
Actually that's why LP is soooo different if compared to other bands
MTM isn't a bad, horrible and unheardble album
LP changed and we have to accept it

Yeah No roads left is great! honestly saying I wuz surprised with Mike's vocals but it is GREAT!!!

u know, after this song and all the songs that he sang in M2M, seems strange that he didn't sing like that before=) I'm so accustomed to it now=)

But in In Between Mike's voice is usual that I could recognized it 4 a 1st time but in No Roads he made me wonder if it is not my fantazy=) lol

I don't think anything, I know that we're all fans and however we thik the same. But I feel not only love but a great gratitude
to LP. these people once saved me and however I wouldn't forget it
I agree with the guy who started this thread, it isnt that I hate the new stuff i like alot of the new songs, but i know alot more people who like the older songs more than the new ones. Dont flame me about just give the new stuff a chance cuz i did and i like it... just not as much as the old.To me it is just like they lost their flair. Im not saying they should stop making their new music but I think that alot of people would love it so much if they created some new songs that had their old style of music.
P.s. I agree the new songs rock in concert but I still think the old ones sound better than the new ones in concert
