im not going to compare it to anything other than collision course because they are in effect, exactly the same concepts.

you cannot compare it to HT, Meteora or M2M imo.

I like every song, i dont like by myself from ht very much but i love the remix, reanimation's with you is so powerful n i dont know. Many people say that they screw the songs up, i think totally the opposite. Its the best remix album i've ever heard.

Yeah I loved By Myself on HT but I definately like Buy Myself better...I like the darker feel.

It's a good CD. I didn't like it much at first, but the more I listened to it the more I liked it. I'm starting to think I like it more the Hybrid Theory. I don't know, not all the songs on it I like better just some of them.

Wtf reanimation...? Come on that thing ruined the hard work of Hybrid Theory. It had a lot of weak quality beats like the remix of High Voltage. The forgotten remix has a HORRIBLE chorus with like the best instrumental on the whole album. The best song on the whole album is probably the With You remix.

The whole reanimation concept was brilliant.(wish they had done it to Meteora as they were some tracks on that cryin out to be remixed)
Reanimation at its basic form was taking the Album HT and melting it deeper into genre's from which the band members have been infuenced and the whole"New Metal" sound which came from Rap-Rock and their -Chemical Beats.
Hight Voltage is exactly taking its roots from Hip hop,raw simple loop's.When you look back at that now you know where he got the idea to start Fort Minor.
Also to say that it ruins the hard work put into HT is wrong .I think it actualy highlights the album.One is black ,one is white( reanimation is def the black)
You cant say either that its the same concept as collision course as that was basically a Mash Up Album(a very good one)but thats all it was no deconstructing tracks and remixing involved there at all
Saying that though I have played the album to people who dont like the Chemical Beat sound or hate everything to do with Dance music and they hated it(reanimation that is).So it could be the beats that turn alot of people off it.
So i guess its an album that will have alot of Lp fans split but personaly I thank them for it as I love the Album and wish they would do more like it,if not pass it around to artist like Crystal Method etc to remix something.Evolve and Grow..
But like everything its down to personal taste

I did not like this album, thought weakly, you set few ones to music healthy good...
Perhaps it had gone out after the Meteora it might have been bigger successful, really it was of their will that the album would go out in 2002!

I agree witchu a lil bit Bucko. i think it's better than minutes to midnight, but not meteora. remix albums dont even really count to me anyway. so out of MTM & meteora, meteora wins majorily

I have all of LP's albums (ALL OF THEM) and I have listened to each for a long time and I can't tell which album is better. Why even try to compare albums when different periods in band's development had different styles and ideas for music. It is always like this. I have a little nu-metal band, and we were playing since 2003. We had different ideas and we talked to our fans to see what is wrong. Now it looks like LP doesn't want to hang out with fans like they said on "Frat Party at the Pankake Festival"... Very sad...

Reanimation was not that great in my opinion. Remixes are hard to pull off for most musicians it seems. When LP collaborated with so many other musicians it took away from the enjoyment of the original songs. A few turned out well, (such as "P5hng Me A*wy" and "Wth>You") but I'd prefer to hear Chester and Mike doing the vocals on the tracks then most of the other singers/rappers that were on there. On a side note, Black Thought is amazing. <3

Idk about Meteora (maybe MTM), but I liked it. In the album,
they kind of made there own style of music, and made the album
original in it's own way (even though they only had like 4 songs
not on Hybrid Theory).

Reanimation was pretty cool,it's really refreshing and all-but it can't be compared with Meteora or MTM cause it wouldn't be really fair.
I mean this is a remix,so judge it as remix,and I'd give it a 3/5.
It's cool,but it lacks something,I don't exactly know what it is,but it does.
Some of the songs are really good,like the remix of Pushing Me Away and With You.(sorry I don't know the exact spelling of the remixes)

I don't know, i don't think its fair to refer to reanimation as "just a remix album" i have heard lots of remix albums but no one is so powerful as Reanimation. The process involved in the production of the album was not "normal" for a remix album... i mean, they recorded new vocals, the band themselves recorded new instruments and stuff like that. More than a remix album i consider it a remake album.

Well I thought Reanimation was a decent album, but nowhere near as good as HT, Meteora, or MTM. I what I thought really brought it down were the guest vocalists. Some of the songs (such as Pts.Of.Athrty, Plc.4 Mie Haed, and Rnw@y) were great, but others not so much. On KRWLING, I thought the guest singer had completely ruined the song (especially in the beginning) and P5hng Me A*wy was just downright terrible. All in all, it was a decent album. 6.5/10

The whole point of reanimation was to give a fresh insight to the songs from HT.

However I thought Reanimation was in a league of its own, the Chairman Han remix of With You is awesome, as are most of the tracks from the album.

I'm not sure really. I think because I loved Hybrid Theory more than Meteora and M2M I'm already predisposed to love the songs on Reanimation. The only thing I would say is that the Marilyn Manson remix of By Myself should have been on there.
