Well? What do you think about the EP?

'And One' and 'Part of Me' are two of my favourite LP tracks. 'High Voltage' kinda sucks, though. I don't like the "uh, uh, uh" stuff he's doing. The version they played at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame however is awesome.
They should commercially release it. I'm sure a lot of fans'll buy it.

I like all the songs on the Hybrid Theory EP :). And I think that's a great idea to commercially release the Hybrid Theory EP :D.

Hahahaha My opinion is that the only good part in "High Voltage" is the uh-uh-uh- thing :D
But I love part of me and andone is also a good one :)

Ebay. I think it's the only place you'll manage to find an original copy. Even there you have to look out that you aren't getting the re-release they did for LPU1.

Most of the ones on eBay are bootlegs or fakes. I'd be VERY careful with the EP. The original EP's won't ever be on eBay. There were so few. Even the re-release from LPU1 is something to be had and kept.

Yeah, they're on eBay, but be very careful.
They're lots of fake ones.

Most of my favourite Linkin Park songs are on the EP. Although the non-Reanimation remix of High Voltage is better than the original.

Which is the real version?
Is it the version on Frat Party at the Pankake Festival, In The End:Live & Rare single? or is it the Original Jap Retail version?

The version on Frat Party/ITE: Live and Rare is the remixed version of High Voltage which was re-recorded for Hybrid Theory but cut from the final tracklist (it would have gone between Cure for the Itch and Pushing Me Away, which is why the fade-out of CFTI is at the beginning). The version on the HTEP is the one with the vocoded vocals in the chorus (the "robot voice").

I'm with you on this one. And One, Carasel, and Part of Me
are my faverite (and also count Ambient/Secret as my favorite.
In case your wondering Ambient/Secret is a secret song about
ten minutes after Part of Me. There is another secret song
after And One where Mike raps "ominously" for one minute.
And btw, Ambient/Secret is basically a demo for Session
from the Meteora album).

There's nothing like a demo for Session. It's rumor or fake.

There's no secret song after And One. The part you're talking about is just a part of the And One song. What's the point of adding secret track to the middle of the album? It won't be any secret.
And btw, Ambient/Secret is obviously not a demo for Session from the Meteora album).

It's not a secret song, but i count that thing after And One as an interlude of some sort. Little has to do with the actual song And One... it's like 2 songs in one.

One of Mike's lines in the rap at the end of And One has "keep my distance" in it. It has everything to do with the rest of the song.
And Track 7 (which is the only name the hidden track has actually been referred to by the band) is not a demo for Session. They don't sound ANYTHING alike, and you can't have a demo for a Meteora song from that period when there's Hybrid Theory and Reanimation in between them.

didn't it say in the Meteora booklet that BTH lyrics took years or something like that? (can't check for myself, i've lent all my lp discography)

from the booklet: "Mike had been trying to write a song around this lyrical idea over 5 years....the song was finally complete- six years in the making "

Well the lyrics did, but as a song, the music and structure that became Breaking the Habit never existed until they wrote Meteora. If Mike had released one of his early attempts at writing BTH on Hybrid Theory, it probably wouldn't bear any resemblence to BTH, just deal with similar subject matter (kind of like Lying From You and QWERTY are almost identical subject matter, just written from opposite perspectives).

I love Hybrid Theory EP
My favorite song is Part of me
I guess would be impossible to put it on sales
I mean if you have luck you will find it at E-bay
The true one
Which I guess is pretty hard to find

I agree BTH would be other melody structure
Cause in Meteora LP tried some other things like classic instruments
But the lyric would mean almost the same as the original
Maybe if it was at HT it would be more heavier than the original one
