yeah, i'll just post about fort minor and start the first thread for them. fort minor was awesome and i loved how mike showed that hip-hop can be entertaining without listening to songs that mention anything about money, sex and women. i hope in the future, there will be another fort minor album.

I loved TRT and i just got hold of the mixtape with green lantern, man i never get tired of any of this stuff. Another album would hit big, and it will help keep mike in his hip hop state with the change of style in LP.

Its all about 'Kenji'..I love that song so much..the way Mike openly talks about all the shit that his family went through just for being Japanese during WW2 after Pearl Harbour and how it effected them during and afterwards..so powerful

A friend of mine shares the same confusion as me - if you're so worried about grammar "cause it wud take too long", then why "put sum colors n personaliZe it"? That takes about three times as long as it would to post something normal.

Pardon the vulgarities, but it's the same excuse every time. "Itz nawt eenglish claz, soz y du i need 2 akt lyke it?"

Two reasons:

1) They teach you grammar and spelling in English class for a reason. To use in everyday life. Do you think you'll have English class forever? Hell no. So are you going to "type lyk dis bcuz itz ezir" forever just because it's not English class? I highly doubt it. Be realistic, for Pete's sake. Hell, I'm on summer break and I'm using perfect grammar and spelling. And this is taking me less than ten seconds per sentence. And if you're in so much of a bloody hurry that you need to give people a bloody headache trying to figure out what the hell you're saying, you have some serious issues. I find it easier and quicker to type like an intelligent human being than like a moron who's lived under a rock for seven trillion years.

2) Common courtesy. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to decipher that bullcrap? If you have an ounce of respect for anyone besides yourself (or maybe including, how the hell am I supposed to know), you'd be nice enough to hit all of three more keys on your keyboard. After a while, you get faster at typing coherently and you save all of two more nanoseconds posting a message, or sending an IM.

Plus, recall the reason that "shortening" bullcrap came about. Text messaging. You've got a cap on characters plus most providers charge by character. So it was to save money. Is abbrieviating words on a message board going to save you money? No. Cancelling your Internet service will, but I doubt that's something you want to do.

And that shortening bullcrap does affect your English class. Ever write a paper and things come out shortened out of habit? Yeah. Exactly. I can tell you firsthand how bad it's getting, just from editing newspaper articles. Articles going into a fucking NEWSPAPER were riddled with that text talk crap. It's really pathetic.

Save the vowels. For crying out loud.

yeah, i'll just post about fort minor and start the first thread for them. fort minor was awesome and i loved how mike showed that hip-hop can be entertaining without listening to songs that mention anything about money, sex and women. i hope in the future, there will be another fort minor album.

I agree with you all the way. FM is awesome. I hope they do come out with another album next year hopefully when both Mike and Styles Of Beyond both have time. I can't wait for S.O.B.'s album later this year :).
