M2M and HT are better, I'm sorry. Meteora is a great record, but it's not special or anything, just the follow up from HT, which was an outstanding record.

I can't say which is the best..Meteora was great, MTM is on its way but I don't think I'll like it more than Meteora. HOWEVER I think Hybrid Theory was the best so far.

Hybrid Theory (love) 100%
Minutes To Midnight (love so far) 90%

Either way LP is still the best band ever.

Meteora is a strong CD and well made too. Only thing weak about it was Hit The Floor had verses that I didn't really feel it fit the song's theme at all, shoulda been like some battle rap's verses. 2ndly, No Body's Listening was hot but I expected Mike to rap a lil longer to show more of his skills since he is rapping on a "real" hip hop beat.

Hybrid Theory And Meteora were great, WONDERFUL, BEST. but minutes to midnight is not as good as them. I think LP has changed his style, and it is very bad :(

No I have to disagree, for the nu-metal type genre style - HT is the best album LP has made. But for creativity and musical growth I think M2M is the best.

Meteora is my favorite too, but i still love hybrid theory alot. Some say hybrid theory is the best, and that meteora isnt really cuz its a repeat, which is true. But i felt like they were a little deeper and with more feeling in the meteora (not by too much than HT). But maybe cuz i bought Meteora first, b4 HT. Yah, i was a fan when Meteora was popular

I bought HT first and got Meteora and I heard alot of people said it was a weak or average CD but it ends up a superb CD. I look at Meteora as their "different" type of CD, it didnt have too much angry songs like HT did.

Well it's hard to choose one best album frm all,but personally I like Hybird Theory the best.

n MTM's ok,I dont think it's a commercial album,just everybody'd go deeper while they'r growin'.

I actually like Meteora the least out of the 3. The guitar tracks were really thickened up and heavy on Meteora, and I like a lot of the sampled sounds, but other than that, I think a lot of the lyrical content of the album was pretty weak. And other than Nobody's Listening and Breaking the Habit, most of the songs honestly sound like they could've been leftover tracks from Hybrid Theory because the style is so similar.

Meteora was the first LP CD I listened to, so in that sense I think it's an awesome album if it got me listening to LP.
In many ways I think Hybrid Theory is better as it gave LP their unique sound and direction.
On the other hand, M2M is a brand new sound, although I find the songs resembling their older sound more appealing (e.g. No More Sorrow, Given Up, Bleed It Out). This doesn't stop it from being a great album, but it's just I find the other 2 better.

So now to my favourite: Meteora does have a darker and more mature sound which is more appealing, although I would have to say just slightly.

I love all LP albums, when I listen to theyr cds I can't stop me, I've to listen from the first to the last track, if I don't do it, I feel myself unfaithful. But I think the best one is Hybrid Teory, I don't know why, but I love that album in a very special way...

Hybrid Theory was a good album but now for some reason the songs get old quick and Meteora wich is the first album i ever owned by LP was great i love Metoera and the more i listen to it it's kinda a debate between MTM and Meteora Hybrid Theory just dont seem to cut it anymore still love the album though

Because it was pretty much a dumbed down Hybrid Theory that, with a few exceptions, didn't improve of evolve their sound. "Don't Stay" was pretty much "One Step Closer", "Somewhere I Belong" was "In The End", "Session" was nowhere near as good as "Cure For The Itch", "Hit The Floor" and "Figure .09" don't have nearly the balls of "Forgotten" or "A Place For My Head" and "Easier To Run" and "Numb" were both sissy versions of "Pushing Me Away". The album did have good songs, "Breaking The Habit", "From The Inside", "Lying From You", "Faint", but as a whole, the album was generally didn't really expand much, and I think because of that, Minutes To Midnight turned out they way it did, so drastically different from older stuff, because Meteora was so drastically similar to Hybrid Theory.

They were lighter, the lyrics were a little worse (and Pushing Me Aways lyrics weren't that great...), and all and all just sounded like Linkin Park ripping off their own song.

I prefer Hybrid Theory too, but I don't think Meteora is so bad...There are a lot of goods songs in it.
Hybrid Theory is the top, so it's difficult to do better.
For me, Meteora isn't so similar to Hybrid Theory,
the words, the themes, and the music are really different...
I like a lot meteora, is my favourite cd post Hybrid theory.

theyre both special to me. hybrid theory was a great record for them to get noticed as far as fan-wise, and meteora was just the next big step bcuz of the sound and the theme of it.

I love Hybrid Theory and Meteora to tears, some songs I relate too, some songs cheer me up, eh depends on what kind of mood I'm in. When Minutes to Midnight came out it was a refreshing drink that was given to us. It wasn't the same type of style as HT or Meteora, but it had some elements that reminded you of the other albums. I also like how they added the slow songs and gave Mike a chance to actually sing instead of rap. I was kind of sad that they didn't add a DJ solo like in the other albums, "Cure for the Itch, Session." But hey, it's different and sometimes you need to step away from what you usually do so the fans don't get so bored. Although I doubt any die-hard fan of Linkin Park would get bored of the band...In other words I love all of the albums and always crank up the volume whenever I hear them on the radio, or listening to them on me iPood, or CD.

I strongly agree your comment S113. I look at LP as a band that influence people like they respond what's their music is all about in a lot of video interviews or w/e. Songs like Leave Out All The Rest, What I've Done, Valentine's Day, and In Pieces reminds me a lot of the times of old LP. Simply, their musical goal when they make songs: to influence their fans within struggle.

I think both of the albums are really great. I adore all songs. They help me to live. When I'm in the bad mood I listen to [LP] and in that moments I feel myself the happiest girl in the world! The music of LP and the magnificent voices of Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington make people feel happy. I feel some magic in these songs... Thank you, my dear LP!

for me it`s hybrid theory and meteora.
perhaps i should make a list and find out what is first. :P

but i really loved the style of meteora when it came out. the songs where so different but compared they were a wonderful piece of art.
hybrid theory was more like a really breakout-album. like "here we are, look at us. we show you what we can."

I like Meteora very much and decided to listen to it while I surf the internet, but it just doesn't work. I get to a start screen, but it has no "play the music" option and I can't find anything else that will allow me to play the music on my computer. Why would you make a CD that you can't listen to( i can listen to it on my CD-player, but that is in another room)? What am I doing wrong?

minutes to midnight- 98(thats only cuz its different from what i fell in love with LP for) but hey its LP, they rock whatever they do!!
